Youve done it now. Cue Peoffrey saying how he now lives in Wales and comes from a Welsh family and really identifies with it and how much friendlier it is there than places he lived in Manchester except for Failsworth or something not dissimilar to all this, in 5...4...3......

You forgot to mention his bucket hat....

I absolutely fucking love this cess pit and it’s just started pissing it down - just gets better.

You do realise we’ve had a labour council for fucking eternity don’t you?

They’ve done very little to eradicate the state of the city centre except build a fucking concrete wall around Piccadilly gardens to hide it. All in the name of art I suppose. Should have left it a green area.
The government hasn't been labour for decades there is a difference between Blair's new labour and real labour and Corbyn is offering real Labour.

Our local council has had it's hand tied whilst Blair and now the Tory's fill their pockets and it's time to get back to having grass in Piccadilly gardens which means Corbyn!! :)

Gets more and more like London every day.
Piccadily Gardens is a disgrace and you have to be earning shit loads to afford a posh apartment in town.
the locals have been driven out. Having lived in Manchester all my life I no longer feel safe and secure here and want to move.
The politicians have let us down.

We only be able to afford to cut the grass after a few years of Corbyn. Ps your post is absolute nonsense.

I love living in London but you’re correct, proper locals are being driven out. These days you either live in a man dem postcode, Muslim ghetto or yummy mummy bugaboo brigade territory. Fortunately (I use that term lightly) I live in one of the latter. I bought my house in 2007 for 350k now worth 700k because of this influx. Ridiculous. No wonder we have these problems. Even I’m ostracised by new Londoners as an antiquity. Home county fucktards

But then that maybe because I’m a complete ****.

I rent privately in Urmston spending 500 quid on rent.
But the council don' care about single men with no kids. So I am forced to rent privately, I wouldn' have a chance in getting a flat through the council and I can't afford to buy.
Arse holes the of them.

To be fair mate it's only recently that we've seen many apartments and flats being built inside the city centre, they've always been on the outskirts so few people have actually lived inside the centre itself, so i don't agree with your comment of locals being driven 'out' though i will accept at the prices charged it's harder for locals to move even more centrally.

Blair was voted in by Labour voters, you cant have it both ways and say we have not had a hard core Labour Government in decades and that's why Manchester is a cesspit, its a ridiculous assertion, you are deluded if you think Corbyn would do any better than any other Government or Leader of the Labour party...!
You can say what you like about certain areas of Manchester being dirty etc etc but its part and parcel of all cities, I love the place warts and all, beats London and the whole of Wales, hands down in every way...!

Margaret Thatcher even admitted herself that Tony Blair was her greatest achievement " we made our enemies think like us ".

We haven't seen a real Labour Government since before she came into power and now our country has pretty much sold every industry it ever had the NHS and schools are crumbling, bankers can bankrupt us and get rewarded for doing so.

Even the moral values have broken down.

Guys, this thread wasn't created so as certain individuals could push their political agendas on others. You have an entire sub forum for such comment.....please use it.

Thank you :-)

Put it into a political thread, this is discuss the shithole itself not who’s fault it is.

It’s not much different to any other major city in all honesty. Good parts, bad parts, great people, scallys.

It is what it is and I love it.

My fucking home.
