Spurs’ new stadium

How would that work? Do you suppose in similar circumstances they could just "tell us" to play at Old Trafford?
If necessary if we've screwed up then yes.

Why should our fans or City as a club be penalised for someone else's fuck-up? It may be that this game has to be postponed to near the end of the season if they can't do it on the Monday. Or that we have to play a weakened team as defending champions in the Carabao Cup if we beat Oxford.

The other thing I'd do is deduct points from them for every scheduled fixture at the new ground that they said they'd fulfil but can't. Play it somewhere else but knock 2 points off per game. No fucker would ever again lie about a new stadium being ready when it's not if they did that.

Season over then.

See how many of our players are injured playing on a cut to fuck pitch.

Monday from a playing perspective is probably the best option. Pain in the neck to get to and away from for fans but they have always been the last consideration.

You keep saying the over run timetable is par for the course. Fair enough, building developments often over run. So knowing that, what did levy do to ensure fixtures could be played at a suitable stadium at a suitable date. Fuck all!
It was only last week he was telling us that we had jumped the gun and the game would still go ahead as scheduled. At the point it was pointed out to him that Spurs knew it would overrun, as he said they always do, and they should have done something about it sooner.

Not if the pitch is in a mess after the Sunday NFL, game it would be the exact opposite of the best option from a playing perspective.

True, but time will tell on that one. Some pitches are used for rugby and football alternate weeks and it seems to work and as yet the weather is still holding so should help.

That may depend on how hard the groundsmen are trying!

Ha. Im sure it will be fine. The plus side is this fixture does not get shoehorned into a period when the fixture are really piling up. At least a level playing field as will be the pitch for Tottenham also.

Was the first thing that came into my head, playing the day after an American football game has took place, absolute madness,if we don’t end up with players injured it will be a miracle ...

You've missed my point. They can't tell Spurs to play in Arsenal's ground. That would be up to Arsenal.

As I said, no doubt someone did fuck up with regard to the lack of availability of Wembley for the Man City match. But then, when the fixtures were finally decided, the stadium was nearing completion and Spurs were very confident of playing the first game at the new stadium on 15th September. It was only after the problem with the electrical circuits occurred at the beginning of last week that the shit hit the fan. The safety systems had been completed and passed a while ago but then a third party cut through one of the loops. Big problem. But not one of Spurs' doing.

Put it this way, say for example that the Etihad required some work mid season, in the course of which the contractors cut through the existing safety system circuitry. Man City would not be able to fulfil their matches at the Etihad until the damage had been fixed. Would that make City a "fuck up of a club"? Or just unfortunate that a contractor fucked up? My guess is that you fellas wouldn't be quite so unforgiving in such circumstances.

How can someone cut through "mr banks is in the north stand" ? We keep it simple up north.

To be fair when United did that fake bomb thing I bet you had a good laugh, everyone else did bar Cherries fans.
