Leroy Sane - 2018/2019 performances

Not on the team bus so out of the squad today, apparently down to "performances in training". Fine by me, Pep knows what hes doing.

We don't have time to pander to Leroy if we want to win titles.

You’ve seen the documentary and you’ve seen Sam has contacts. It could be any one of around 40 people that had a word in his ear.

Let’s face it, some unknown bloke on twitter already knew Sane wasn’t in the squad hours ago.
 
There's too much smoke without fire. Had this been someone like Pogba or Sanchez we'd all be hammering it home.

He's a golden boy for some on here so some won't like to believe it.

As much as he's undoubtedly talented he's equally as undoubtedly got an attitude issue/problem; he has a fecking tattoo of himself for crying out loud.

Does that mean I don't rate him? Of course not, he's a wonderful talent. It does, for me, make me believe he'll be wanting off to Bayern or elsewhere in a few years; the type to agitate for a move.

The "he's just a kid" excuses are wearing thin as Jesus and Sterling never have these rumours or problems, so age doesn't dictate maturity.

We all hope he knuckles down and reaches his peak here but people shouldn't be shouted down for stating what is becoming patently obvious; he's got to sort his attitude out.
 
Fully behind Pep on leaving him out.

Dropped from the German squad for the WC and instead of coming back with fire in his heart ready to prove everyone wrong he actually stagnates, shocking really.

He needs a massive wake up call. Some tough love like today.

Honestly the warning signs began when he got a full back tattoo of himself despite achieving nothing in the game.

Hopefully wakes up because if he doesn’t fix his attitude problem he’ll never achieve his potential. We have Pep to coach him and put him on the right path so I’m not too worried.

Nothing against tattoos but a tattoo of yourself across your WHOLE back is a bit extreme wouldn’t you say. First time I every saw anything like this. Honestly thought it was a joke first time I heard about it.

Tells us he already thinks he’s a superstar in his own mind.
 
It's been blatantly obvious Pep has not been happy with Sane and that Sane has been having a sulk. Even last season on the whole he played great but there was a period where his performance level dropped and he looked disinterested. All the talent in the world but acts like a sulking kid. If he wants to be one of the best which he can be he needs to sort his head out.
 
Sane would start ahead of Mendy if he'd shown he'd adapt to wing back. He was dogshit when asked to do that. Mendy got injured and Sane resumed his role on the left of a front 3. The problem with Sane is he's not "active" when defending and lets us down. Whereas he's electric when attacking.

I have lots of tatts and know lots who have,you can't tell who has what and why,if being a footballer from a kid is his dream he is there,doesn't mean he thinks he is the best in the world yet

Oddly enough something similar to this was posted about Leroy's tattoo on ragcafe.
