Leroy Sane - 2018/2019 performances

He's out done Sterling. He seems to have been scapegoated for a tournament he wasn't even selected for. Impressive.

Toni Kroos strikes me as an utter **** btw. He's also been having a go at ozil and telling him there is no racism against him. Seems like the guy who looks like a member of the Hitler youth has stumbled on a formula as to who he can use to divert attention away from the shite performances of the German national team.
Kroos is probably a wrong un and is trying to put everyone off the scent. Either he’s corrupt or he has a Troy McClure-type fish fetish

Which I have plenty of thank you. Effectively you have just said you understand Sane's psyche - true?

You are clearly only able to see one motive behind Kroo's statement - fine, there are others who can think a little differently. That doesn't mean you or I are wrong, it means there are alternate ways to interpret things
I understand kids, germany were rank but lets throw all the focus on the kid that wasn't even there

Two seperate things here though should Kroos have said what he said publicly, no he shouldn't . Does Sane have an issue with his application, he might.
He '22 now though so he takes on board what Pep is telling him and acheives his very high ceiling or if he can't it will be a shame but it's up to him now Sterling keeps improving Sane needs to as well he isn't a youth player anymore he needs to be getting near his peak.

There's much less in it than the headlines imply if you listen to the full dfb presser again, as I just did.

Don't forget, Löw and his team are under immense pressure now, after letting down a full nation (on title defence).
Anyone is annoyed about the management of that desaster. President, DOS Bierhoff, Löw.
Anyone is fed up about talking soft, German public is expecting to speak out plain and clear now (that's part of our culture and has a good and also a negative side, I know). That's what Löw and Kroos were asked to do in that presser. And they tried to.

Some say the reason for the WC f**k up was the system, possession game.
But most say the real problem was poor attitude, even arrogance on and off pitch.
So attitude is THE topic right now for the German squad.

At the end of the presser - Löw and Kroos, 1hr 15min! - Kroos was being asked to explain the type of player and the type of human Leroy is.

Kroos was very complementary about Sané, but also pointed out what many of us (me included several months ago) have seen and posted.
Kroos talked about Leroy's outstanding and even unique potential in German football, also talked about his great season at City.

But he also said Leroy is young and needs some good advice to become more consistent.

Last question of the presser was about Leroy again, asking why he was left out of the squad when Leroy is a great player, and Kroos said it was based on former performances, which were below expectations, and his body language during matches and in training, which Kroos as a team mate surely must know even better than us.

Bottom line, no news really.
German football is in crisis. Kroos as one of the leaders had to speak out plain.

Relax lads, it's not about City at all. If we're honest, Leroy has to work much harder
when he wants to become a player like Christiano R. - and not someone like Nasri.

that will go down well with the Kroos agenda theorists

Look at the posts about Ozil on BM. The almost universal feeling is he goes missing. But only BMers have the right to say this. They are the only people on earth entitled to free speech. Woe betide any wurst-munching, goose stepping closet Nazi Kraut to pop above the parapet.

German football is in crisis and the manager and Kross have put it there, hold their hands up a discuss that,no need to say anything more than he is welcomed back and hope he can help them, simple, leave the other stuff for behind closed doors,he was nothing to do with them being rank, step up senior players and take some responsibilty rather than throwing the kid under the bus

That's not what Kroos said though, he didn't say anything about ozils performances, he's done what the Bayern twats have also done and attacked ozil for saying he's been subject to racism. All the establishment white guys ganging up to attack the non-white guy for speaking out about racism isn't exactly a classy move in my book.

Really ? Come on lad I've just said I don't want to go on about it,but I'll tell you one thing where I possibly would react, and that is if a fellow pro had slated Sterling, because as he's still with us,he's one of us,so I'd defend him for sure on that score

Not surprised you “don’t want to go on about it” after your utter humiliation on the Sterling contract thread.

I’d have let it ride if you hadn’t committed yet another fcukin stupid mistake of calling me “lad”.
