Leroy Sane - 2018/2019 performances

You’re being too literal with that now. Clinging to it even. He used it as a friendly, diplomatic way of questioning the boys attitude.

Just as a matter of interest, have you actually even read the comments Kroos made ?

Kroos said: “Sometimes you have the feeling with his body language that it is all the same whether we win or lose. He has to improve his body language.

Note the word 'feeling'.

Also sometimes you have to tell him he has to perform better and improve a bit. You have to find a way to push him to a better performance level.

So he then added on, the bit about performance on the pitch.

Also, you keep saying it's nothing to do with the club, when he said this: “What is crystal clear is we need a player with the quality he has. We don’t have another player like him. He played a fantastic season with City last year but sometimes it seems Pep Guardiola has the same problem at the moment and that’s why he put him out of the squad so he can be motivated to perform better.

Here's typically, how it was reported (Kroos of course, never having dealt with the press in all his years of playing for the German national team, Bayern Munich & Real Madrid, would have no idea whatsoever, that his comments would be reported in this way, he was just trying to help)

German football expert Raphael Honigstein

It's fairly unusual for team-mates to get involved but I think this situation reflects a real concern inside the dressing room. It may also reflect a sense that keeping this in house and saying this to him behind closed doors has not had the desired effect yet.

I think there is a concern in the dressing room that he's not really behaving as professionally as his status - which is still quite low within the national set-up - would demand.

Leroy Sane: Manchester City ace ‘must have done something to upset Pep Guardiola’, says Sam Allardyce

And how fucking right I was about him.

People were all for sacking Jolean Lescott & bringing in Rekik. If he had a fucking time machine to go back, he still isn't good enough now.
No disagreement from me on that score, either now or in the past however you do have a propensity for getting a little obsessive over some threads. You don't have to respond to ever single post, just a thought bud.

Mind boggling how the narrative about Leroy has grown since the start of the season - For me, he's one of our own and we should get behind him more than ever. F*** the biased reporting by a media still desperate for us to implode, f*** the German FA who have shown themselves to be more than a joke. The lad is young, did exactly the same thing last season, which turned out to be one of the best, if not the best by a team in PL history. He was a big part of that. Leroy is maybe just one of those players that needs time to get up to speed and find form. On form he terrifies opposition. I have no idea where all these questions about his poor attitude have suddenly sprung up. No player likes being on the fringe and perhaps he let that show too much in training. Like Stones and Sterling before him let's not let outside influences play a part. He'll be fine, if we allow him to be. Personally I like us more with Leroy and Raheem playing wide, pace and power is a frightening combination.

He had 33 total of Goals & Assists, so Pep better let him back to the 1st Eleven.

Losing him is insane.

Well the gutter press need to make something up to justify their existance.
Maybe a story needs to do rhe rounds that we are going to bid 90mill for deeney with 350k a week wages. (Just to see if rags top it).
Leroy will be ok once settled as a father. Think pep knows this and is cutting him some slack - will be a big player in chumps league, cups etc.
Impact sub for me - in league games - not a starter. 60 mins in when defenders are knacked ... on struts Leroy to completely finish you off . As a defender you have to be thinking ... thank goodness they took Sterling off - not had a nice afternoon between him and Mendy. OH SH*T who allowed em to bring Sane off the bench. F*ck this.I'm off... (left back collapses with mysterious leg injury).

I feel like many people are forgetting how good Sane really was last season, and how long it took him to settle into his groove. He is not an impact sub for me, not in any universe. Maybe on his current form but I am confident he will be getting back to his best, in which case he easily slots into our starting 11 IMO. He seems like an emotional player and hes still young so he easily gets his confidence knocked, but it wont be long til he shakes it off

I haven't seen anything to suggest we want to sell him or that Sane wants to leave, can you provide links please?

Not that 'we' as in City, want to sell him, no. Pep has already said he hasn't dropped him for doing anything wrong.

But there were loads of pieces speculating about how his future is in doubt & various wanker City fans tweeting etc stuff like 'bin him'.
It's understandable some City fans would be worried it could be true.

The kids talent and potential should not be in question, the only thing that has been put in question the past month or so has been his application from pep but I have no doubt it will be sorted and the sane we all know will be back in the side doing what he does best. I have no worries with him
