Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

Bollocks - If we start paying players what they ask for we will soon be in deep shit - clearly you dont own or run a business

Yes he is young but what if he is already at his ceiling performance wise?
We should not be worried about others coming in to "ramp up the pressure" if there is any that is, as that will tell us an awful lot about him would it not?
you are aware that riot club is a multi millionaire after selling his very successful business ?

I will wager its 99% agreed and done and like all our contract extension of late, will be carefully staged managed as to when we get told.

I sincerely hope you are correct with this info as he is playing regularly at a level above most other players at present and if we don’t agree a new contract for sure any major European team will start ‘tapping’ him up.

Tough one this - but needs sorting out

No inside knowledge but here are three reasons why I’m sure he’ll stay:

1) He’s valuable to us. Young, already a big contributor but with potential to improve still further.
2) He looks happy enough and is surrounded by players who enhance his game.
3) Both sides are adopting negotiating positions but a compromise is on the cards.

I don't think he has reached "Peak Sterling" yet. His dribbling has certainly improved THIS season. If he could just relax when he shoots he could be the best player in the world.

Showed again that he is among our top performers week in week out and should be paid accordingly. Sign him up City, the longer contract the better as far as I’m concerned

Daily Mail reckons he could be let go to help pay for a 200 million bid for Mbappe in January.

Agree with all 3 points,partc No.2.

I take it as positive that in every single brief there has been talk that an agreement is that far away, and that indeed one can be reached.

I have faith it’ll be done sooner or later
