“Rashford is a big talent of course and Lingard.

“England is safe, you have outstanding players."

That was Guardiola saying that. So I'm not sure it's entirely fair to leap on someone who happens to be offering up qualified praise for them. Would anyone call Guardiola the same kinds of names for daring to say such a thing?

Karen7 would say football is not for Pep. :-)

What is the context of those two statements?
Because he's absolutely right with the second one. There's John, and Kyle, and Fabien, and Raheem, and ...

I thought he looked lively on the ball, was energetic and was one of the few looking to work the ball rather than resort to hoof-ball.

I liked him tbh. One of the few decent England players in the tournament.

Mate, the only permissible view on here is that Sterling had a much better WC than either of the rags you mention. No other evidence is admissible.

I second this @Armchair Supporter . She's an awful poster in my opinion. This is the same poster who said rhat Guardiola doesnt care about winning when we played Brighton last season.Do yourself a favor and just ignore.

Also agree with this man. I don't think there's a more punchable face in football that the peacock nosed social-media wh0re.
Didn't take long for you to jump in,i have told you before i was pissed at the rag game not the brighton game, now do you have anything rag related to talk to me about?

I call foul, out of context! I saw that presser. Pep said "And Lingard . . . " then mumbled “is a raccoon-nosed thunderc*nt" in Catalan under his breath.

He was saying all United's English players are very good, then name checked those two. Now, of course, he's being polite, but I never really get the "he's shit" line of attack just because they play for United.

Lingard is a bit of a late developer, but he looks a decent enough player to me, and more importantly to a fair few decent judges, including Guardiola it seems.

No dog in the fight, just always feels a bit excessive that's all.

Ignore her pal. She watches her football on the TV, just as you do. Your entitled to your own opinion. For her to say football is not for you is laughable. For the record I think Lingard is a big nosed rat looking cnut who has a face that I wouldn't tire of punching. Nice finish in the world cup that's about it.
The point is he says he does not watch rag games just watches MOTD,how can you push that their players are good enough for us without watching them play club football?

He's not shit because he plays for United, and he's not (necessarily) a c*nt because he plays for United.

He's a c*nt because he's Jesse Lingard and the day his face meets the back of someone's snow shovel will be a good day.

Agree he's a bit of a late developer as most skinny twerps who dance around like weasel-faced pixies on social media stop doing it at age 15.

Both WUMs ;-)

I think you have just missed the key point of this thread Karen.

That Is, you can't judge a player on his Utd performances alone because of the utter farce the club and the manager has become.

I actually said I only catch Utd games on MOTD but watched all of the world cup matches.

Do keep up.

Well as much as I think Pep is a fantastic manager and I'm so happy he's our manager, I would take issue with him over those comments.
Wythenshawe Pele is nothing special and neither is the dabbing dickhead.
Both would be more suited to play for some team like West Bromwich etc

Not true though is it? What you actually said was
lWell, i don't watch united lol, but what i have seen of the two of them i think i see two players who are held beck by the manager and the squads they play in.
I don't go for digital opinions, so i think there is a bit of ground between fucking wank and fucking amazing. As they stand, they are decent enough. Under Pep i think they would be very good.
and that was what Karen pulled you up on

You don't watch rag games so obviously YOU can't judge him at all,we are talking club football not one half decent game at the world cup against crap opposition,to end this there is not 1 single rag player that any sane person would think could be good enough to displace any of our players

My bet is they will spend big under a new manager. I think they held some back from the gouger as “insurance”.

The present predicament means they absolutely need a top manager and that will be the price.

Only way they can spend big is if they sell 2 or 3 players they are on there limit
