Normally I'd agree but he just lost the plot there. No time for any real planning like that, just him being a soft arse who can't handle getting some of his own stuff thrown back at him. In the heat of the moment he frequently loses his shit, he's not remotely controlled enough to come up with schemes on the spot. This latest "mole hunt" being leaked to the press is much more his style.

He'd also probably been planning his post match gloat for about 15 minutes and was gutted he had to throw it out.

People give him far, far too much credit for this sort of shite. He lost his shit in the heat of the moment (as he's done repeatedly) and some want to pretend this is an elaborate performance piece. What did he gain by it? People are talking about him being a tit rather than a decent 2-2 draw away at unbeaten Chelsea? Give the man a medal, what a genius.

Presumably swearing down the camera the week before was also a genius plan to distract from the teams 3 goal comeback? People really need to stop buying into this bullshit

Exactly right, the actual talk would have been of United responding (for the second time) and just failing to hold on. The result in itself is a decent one, I'd take a point there with our team so for United it's a great result.


The only bit he did well on was putting the blame on Chelsea and then trying to bury the subject. Provocation happens in football and retaliation to it can be sending of offence. He got away with one, as you say he lost his cool and reacted without thinking. To me it all got heated because of Mourinho time wasting with subs, more so than just normal, they swapped the numbers, waited for the player to be treated for the injury and then did the sub (as opposed to whilst he was ready), having both players ready and sending one back to stop the game again, going onto the field to congratulate Martial on tracking back. In fact, you could argue, he started it and the Chelsea guy reacted and then Mourinho blew his top. Yet, he ended up taking the moral high ground,


These 2 games have been as good as it has got for United this season, so I think this talking about Mourinho is better than the football.


Real test for them on Tuesday night, expect to see a few more cracks if things don't go well.

PEG, as we know, is an arrogant tw@. On Saturday he had the absolute effrontery and nerve to say that Sarri and his assistant had apologised and that he had ‘accepted’ their apology. Not a single word of apology from him of his ‘violent’ reaction.

Only one historical superpower can rise from the ashes and take their rightfull place back at the top of the mountain, the ghosts of Mat Busby & Don Revie will be looking down from on high as the collosal battle unfolds (well the supporters beat seven shades out of eachother) in yet another hoofball 0-0 draw.
