2015 his wife passed away from breast cancer.
I heard it on the radio and was thinking how I’d feel putting my own kids through that, getting Re-married so soon, made me uncomfortable. Each to their own.

Good luck to the fella. Personally I don't see 3 years as too soon, but as you say, each to their own.
