At least it seems everyone is seeing Gundo for what he is now, hopefully Pep will be seeing it too.
Quite right about the best eleven bit. Still firmly believe that in the last two games though we've had enough quality players on the pitch to dispose of CP and LC. Our defence has turned to blancmange and the attacking side not much better. Speaking of priorities I firmly believe the scousers will willingly dispense with the FAC and CL this season in order to win the league title.Heady cocktail of form fitness and luck against us at the moment
One glimmer for me is that IF we can get our best 11 on the pitch we beat anyone....big IF at moment
Wonder if we will try and prioritise the cup competitions now? Shame if we do with half a season left.
Doubt we will see anyone come in this window
so we lose two league games on the spin and are alive in a total of 4 comps and all of a sudden people are off to the library with a bottle of brandy and their old service revolver? Fucking pathetic. Some people have become the equivalent of rags and dippers on here
baby battlerso we lose two league games on the spin and are alive in a total of 4 comps and all of a sudden people are off to the library with a bottle of brandy and their old service revolver? Fucking pathetic. Some people have become the equivalent of rags and dippers on here
this is bang on.What happens when you spunk your 60m for a defensive midfielder on another winger we did not need ....
Good postDidn’t see much football or pride today. We are reaping the problem of not buying a replacement for Fernandinho. Most people could see that a strong quick midfielder was more important than yet another not very talented winger. Putting in Gundogan to do a mans job was never going to work today plus Delph is out of form - Laporte at left back is a much better option imo even though he would be out of position or maybe swap Danilo over to the left but Pep thinks he knows best (and Laporte was not the only problem v Liverpool in the Chumps league imo.
Will take a miracle now but you never know. Christmas period has been our undoing quite a few times in the past but we have all 4 of the top 5 at home in the second half of the season
Chamverlain in the CL definitely wasOnly the Townsend one was a worldy. The others were good goals but nowhere near worldy status.
God we have to put up with Phil Chuckle on MOTD too.
