YNWA wasn't their song either.Allez, Allez, Allez! It's their chant, didn't you know? Not that it's been sung across Spain and Europe for years. :-?
For the entirety of the first half of the QF last year the Scouse shat themselves. After Jesus’ goal, they were in a state of panic that I haven’t seen from them in ages. The crowd contributed to that massively. Need an atmosphere before the kick off and throughout the whole game. We just can’t drop our heads if they score.
Fuck the Beer on Thursday Die for the team !
The thing to note about the comments by Kompany and Pep is that they don't automatically assume the home support will be loud and passionate on Thursday. That is itself is a concern as we all know that it can give the players a big lift, deflate the opposition and influence the officials when a decision might otherwise be 50:50. We need to get the place rocking and cheer the team on from the first whistle to last.
I've wondered before what Pep and the players must think of our support. We don't exactly come across as passionate. Not sure why, because over the last 40 odd years I've been going, we have had some brilliant nights of tremendous support.
We all love City FFS, why are we so placid?
There was many a quiet day and night at Maine Road too.Makes me think the same thing Maine road days were incredible and we was garbage now look at us we are in dream land and some of them in the stadium need waking up.
Don't ruin his nostalgic buzz like that. The atmosphere was always good, the weather was always dry, the chips never ran out and the toilets were lovely. There was many a quiet day and night at Maine Road too.
Totally agree with this. Our company has a box at Anfield and I go to about 3 games a season (including City game).Dippers when the TV cameras arent there , no atmopshere at all , went to the Dipper v Plymouth cup game in 2017 , corporate do , and the Plymouth fans embarrassed the Kopite gobshites out sang them all the game , and they were chanting "shall we sing a song for you" Anfield is one of the biggest myths out there , they are quiet as a mouse for 90% for most of their games

Is it f**k, its a league game midway through the season, from here anything can happen.Honestly this is the biggest game we’ve had in years

In 2012 we were 8 points behind with 6 games left, and we still won it, in 2014 the dippers were champions in April, but sadly (for them) not in May when it actually counts.
