It's the first time I've wobbled in ages. Even in 16/17 I was blindly pretending we could come back and win when we were 14 points back in March. In the Premier League it's probably the first time since 2011 where I've felt we won't be able to win a game - I don't know why it is, I just can't see our defence holding up, our key players are out of form and in poor physical condition.

I've expected us to win plenty of times and seen us lose though, so maybe the opposite will happen this time. If we do win it's the biggest victory of Pep's career since Barcelona days.

Thinking about the last meetings vs dippers,
we finished them 5-0.
we've had crazy 15 minutes and lost 4-3 (weird goals included).
they smashed our bus, players being shaky and the ref did the rest to beat us 3-0. (The bill for that day is still unpaid, if you ask me...)

Now, the joke result forced us to go Gung-ho in the 2nd leg.

Tonight we don't have a tactical 0-3 burden, we just have to win, somehow. Anyhow.

Yeah I think so. It'd be his biggest win for us without a doubt, and at Bayern they cruised to 3 league titles and couldn't get past the CL semi's against heavyweight opposition.

This would be up there with the 5-0 Clasico and the 2-0 win in the CL at the Bernebeu after Pep finally came out swinging against Mourinho.

It's very likely the game which will define the season.

I'll be a bit disappointed with a draw but still confident we can do it. City are going to get stronger as the season progresses because of the return of first de Bruyne and then Mendy

LFC are at their max now with all their big players available and bang in form.

For me it's about taking our chances, we will have more possession & will create some chances but will we take them??

It all depends on how ruthless we are, hopefully it's one of those games where every chance is a goal. Sergio has had a lot of joy against Liverpool at home so I'm feeling positive.
