Sick of that Romesh geezer.
No idea if he's funny or not just sick of seeing his mush in the TV mag every week in relation to yet another show he's involved with.
He's on more things than dust.

Watched a show with him in once, another who has fame for being a comedian when they seem achingly unfunny. I seem to remember his persona being terrible. He tries the nonchalant thing that Richard Ayoade pulls of perfectly and tries to add a sprinkle of Jack Dee, it doesn't work. I can see the style he is going for but it comes across as that. Someone acting and forcing a style, not being themselves. So no matter what they say i am stuck at the front door just trying to "get" the comedian.

His world weary vibe is tedious and not funny, probably because he is to safe. You know with some others there is a chance they are going to blurt out something funny as fuck but crosses every tv show line. This chap never gives this vibe, he is a safe seat on a panel. That is it as far as i can see, he literally just takes up a seat whilst others kick on around him.

Well he likes to think he is.....especially as he spends so much time laughing at his own quips. In fact he`s the only one laughing. The most cringeworthy "look at me" individual (I won`t use the word comedian) on our screens.

For today's stand up comedians there are some terrific nominations on this thread.
Ricky Gervais, Eddy Izzard, Peter Kay, Russel Brand, Al Murray, Lenny Henry and Alan Carr all top of my list along with every woman comic. I can honestly say I've never seen a woman who's any good at stand up comedy.

Who nominated Dara O'Brien? He's absolute quality.
