Not you you fucking barmpot, the idiot on the radio calling Sterling a serial diver!!

Jesus this place at times.

There is radio 5, talk sport, classical, virgin, m/cr, I was enquiring, and showing interest in your post by asking what is XS radio, I simply have not heard of that station, therefore could not identify the person you were referring to.
I just don't think we are on the same WAVELENGTH -;)

Obviously not.........

Plays a lot of Manchester music, Clint boon does the afternoon slot then between 6-7 and they do a local football slot 3 or 4 nights a week, one is City based, 1 rag based and one local, very rarely do i hear it as i'm not usually in the car when it's on. Anyway last night is when that fucker on it (don't know who he is) said that Sterling dives, dives, dives dives and dives, the week he's fouled it's like the boy who cried wolf which we all no is a load of bollocks, i just wondered if anyone pulled him up on it.

Well that explains it. Unfortunately we do not get that mammoth station here in the Peak district. -)
I have also written to the local MP to complain, I the meantime would it be ok if you relayed what they say about our players on this Station
Regards in anticipation. Asa

So the reception is wooly? :-)

Sorry I was referring to the mammoth but on reflection your answers were better than my original post.

As you can imagine, I am shocked (shocked!) that Sky have written and realeased this today...

Phil Foden's future is a challenge for Manchester City and Pep Guardiola
Brahim Diaz's decision to follow Jadon Sancho through the Manchester City exit has put the spotlight on Phil Foden. So what are the prospects of their great academy hope now forcing his way into the team? It is challenge not just for him but for the club…

It is a damning indictment of the lack of opportunity in the Premier League that a young player like Diaz feels he will get more chances with 13-time European champions Madrid than he would at City, but he and Sancho are not the only ones to have lost patience...

Foden has had more first team games at his age than Scholes and Beckham combined. This is just the usual fake news from someone who I suspect has no journalistic qualifications and can't even be bothered to check his facts on Google. This sort of content (plus the growth of streaming services) is why SKY's credibility for football coverage is on the decline.

Quite, hence my sarcasm. ;-)

You don't have to go that far back to expose the hypocrisy. Take Harry Winks, Spurs were lauded a couple of seasons back for their youth policy with Winks one of those used as an example of where Spurs have it right, the lad was 20 before he saw any Premier League footballer, a couple of months shy of his 21st birthday before he started a PL game.

The media want City to give 18 year olds minutes and in Sancho's case, a 16 year old, it's ridiculous.

It’s because certain news outlets are out to unsettle our youth as we were miles ahead of other teams.
It’s worked with both Sancho and Diaz now.
Make Foden out to be an unwanted player but kept because of who is and the other kids begin to think of leaving too.

Did anyone in the national media cover City's goal-scoring exploits?

Manchester City have scored more goals than any top flight European team https://www.manchestereveningnews.c...all-news/man-citygoals-psg-barcelona-15714011

MEN have got it as you would expect but I don't recall any of the nationals running this?

It was in yesterday's daily mail paper, pinched it from my dad's last night , took it to work today cut it out and pinned it on the wall to wind up the rags at work
