im not sure City pulled the ladder up tbh.
The drawbridge was being raised and we just and only just managed to get in.
You can be all morally superior but i know which side of the castle wall id rather be on.

Morally superior? Moi?

You've got me wrong mate, I was addressing those that thought City had done something virtuous by breaking the old top four, we've done nothing of the sort, we've just shuffled the cards in our favour. Everything we've done since has sought to entrench our position, we are indistinguishable from the rags or the dippers in our motivation, we're just better at it and more ruthless.

The BBC report was bereft of the words such as 'allegedly' or 'possibly' when they mentioned the Keita pen and Maguire's 'red' card. Both instances were nailed on certainties and the ref buggered it up for the Dippers. Compare that to the shite Sterling gets and the number of yellow cards that we get which Auntie is desperate to morph into reds à la mode The Alty Tit!
I kinda like it knowing they don't like us, last season I emailed that despicable paedophile BBC media, after we reached 100 pts, and gave it to them big time, suffice to say I didn't get a reply.

We are not that good at it. We still have little presence at administrative level, either in England, Eufa, or FIFA. That is where power and decision making remains.

Don't consider this me making a statement on what Keown said, but I just thought given the discussion over the last couple of days this story about a producer getting fired over a Tom Brady 'slur' in the US was relevant.

Keown's financial doping comment was a disgrace for anyone to make at any broadcasting organisation. If he had made it about Liverpool or United there would have been a media witchunt to get him sacked. Lawyers could have a debate about it but it is essentially defamatory to suggest that our club is crooked. If we sued BT sport they would have to prove it was true or pay damages and our costs. We need to be more proactive in tackling this continuous drip drip damage to our reputation.

Unfortunately City will do nothing as usual.

City were not happy about that.

Glad to hear it. The least we should do is send a legal letter of warning. Imagine if a broadcaster made such a comment about, for example Marks and Spencer, or Coca Cola. These sort of brands invest a lot of time and money protecting their reputation. Our enemies in the media need to know we will not tolerate false allegations against us. Big football clubs like City drive revenues for BT sport and they are idiots to play fast and loose with that relationship.

City let them know when they aren't happy with stuff.

Hopefully Keown will soon be sitting down with his solicitor working out how to dig himself out of his self-enforced hole whist regretting his ill chosen words.

Pundits are such stupid and ignorant twats at times that bring fuck all value to the product most of the time.

MK is a perfect example.

I doubt it. He can almost certainly claim that it accidental blurt; the channel will have spoken to him and Darke about what happened, but nobody's going to start a court action.

Keown on defending can be quite good, but as you say isn't that bright/rounded; in this case, I suspect he heard the feed line from Darke and conflated UEFA FFP (clear breach admitted) with PL FFP (no breach); it may also have been something they talked about earlier - such as when Darke showed him his notes/talked about the new signing - and it was kneejerk reaction.

What I foundd odd is that Keown has normally been one of the better ones when it comes to City. It's only this season since he's boarded the Liverpool hype train (and he was one of the first to do so) that his tone's changed. Not much, but it's there to hear.
