I agree he is not a glowing as usual,he really has no excuse for what he said as he has been commentating for ages,bitter tarquin showed right through there i think,i hope we have had a word instead of just stewing on it

You can buy anything or anyone if you have enough money.

That's part of the frustration for me that seeing how much we do have we shouldn't be so ethical or frugal with it. We're in a position where we could really put our foot on the rag's and dipper's throats but for some reason choose not to.

That reminds me of an old joke from the Cold War era

There was an international car rally to cross the Sahara desert and only two countries entered, the USA and the Soviet Union and the Americans won the race

Pravda (the official communist newspaper) reported that whist the USSR had impressively finished as runner up, disappointingly for the Americans their car finished next to last

If we thought we could challenge them we would have done it,all your posts are saying the same thing and it just not going to happen,maybe PSG have something dodgy going on or can sell lots of players to make one or 2 big purchases whereas we don't sell our best players,we are doing the right thing imo
 
I believe the sports feature on BBC Breakfast Time yesterday did feature the half time half clear up episode but then asked if it really was any worse than clubs trying to stop other teams' passing games by growing the grass longer than usual. Almost a case of one bird with two stones.
 
Wasn’t Stoke’s trick to have the narrowest, shortest pitch with long grass both to help Delap and especially against the Arse?? Mind you, we got them back when we moved the hoardings nearer the pitch to stop him...
 
I won't register for so I can't read the article but the title is enough to make me want to throw up. Just wait if they actually win the bloody thing!
