They hunt Belugas and Porpoises sometimes I believe.I desperately wanted to make a Free Willy reference but knew someone would tell me he was a killer Whale lol

It’s a shame, but they’ll be around for a good while yet. I love being on them. Hardly notice when you take off and land. Doing Singapore to Shanghai on one in a few weeks on SQ.

Fantastic piece of machinery feels like it just hangs in the air and zero movement. Such a shame they probably won’t be seen in 25 years time. Weird they are being mothballed but they are now looking at new supersonic airliners again, wasn’t Concorde seen as a gas guzzler?

The sonic booms were always a bigger issue with supersonic planes than fuel afaik.Fantastic piece of machinery feels like it just hangs in the air and zero movement.
