I thought City got a largely positive press in the States, going off what some posters have said on here in the past? Has it changed recently or is it just because Liverpool are involved in the title race?
What a bizarre video. To say City are "playing worse then they have ever played" is absurd. We are playing superbly well and carving out chance after chance while conceding virtually nothing. Sometimes the chances go in ie Chelsea 6-0 and sometimes not despite the combined 46 shots against West Ham and Bournemouth. Either way we are just destroying teams with 16 wins out of 17 since Christmas (the only defeat was the freak one at Newcastle) We have scored 54 goals and conceded 8. We have beaten Chelsea twice, Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton away, and Schalke with ten men. What planet are these pundits on?
ESPN have always been ****s.I thought City got a largely positive press in the States, going off what some posters have said on here in the past? Has it changed recently or is it just because Liverpool are involved in the title race?
Only bollox by the way referees run games. They do tend to give offside when nobody else can touch it except the player that is flagged. A foul should be assessed before offside in the same phase of play. It's in the rules.Absolute load of bollocks that is, you watch how many times a player is flagged overside for just chasing a through ball before he even touches it, will happen in almost every game. The attacker was going for the ball in that game and should have been flagged offside, just as Kane should have been on Saturday.
And now they’re fucking up the UFC coverage. You see more adverts than successful strikes.ESPN have always been ****s.
ESPN have always been ****s.
Andy Dunn in the Mirror today says the dippers haven't bottled it,no mention they have thrown away a big lead
Nothing to see here
The bias Ive noticed is truly eye opening here in the states. Just listening to the ESPNFC podcast, and they were talking about how City were terrible this weekend and didnt deserve a win. Then they went on to talk about how good Liverpool were and unlucky not to win 3-0. They discussed the odds now on who would win the title, and they go on "this is really difficult to say" that City have the edge.
These guys are going to be completely devestated if Liverpool dont win, and they arent making any effort to hide it. WTF?
You're not wrong, I don't know how they kept a straight face.....
I'm sure these pundits just watch MOTD to get their opinions from,i don't believe many of them watch every game from start to finish,Nicol is a dipper with a platform, there is so many of them on tv and radio you would think there is only 1 team in the premThere's three options I can think of why Steve Nichol said our performance was terrible:
- He didn't watch the game and decided to believe RAWK
- Wishful thinking being stated as delusional fact
- So indoctrinated by the cult that is Liverpool FC that he will parrot the party line however ridiculous
I guess it could be all three.

On another note,Wio is pushing the Foden needs to leave to play,i'm sure if he was asked he wouldn't know how many mins he has played for the first team or how many goals he has,a good wekend for us and out they come

He's also probably oblivious to the fact he's signed a 6 year deal and loves it at City....I'm sure these pundits just watch MOTD to get their opinions from,i don't believe many of them watch every game from start to finish,Nicol is a dipper with a platform, there is so many of them on tv and radio you would think there is only 1 team in the prem

Dean saunders said at the time he is being paid 50k( amount picked out of the sky) a week to sit on the bench for 6yrs,they hate it we have the next star of the england team, anyone else they would say he is being managed perfectlyHe's also probably oblivious to the fact he's signed a 6 year deal and loves it at City....
Perfect summary,i wonder if the media will start hammering him when he plays for england like they do with our other players,,i wouldn't put it past them to try and crush the kid just because he plays for usThe Foden agenda is being driven from a few perspectives- clubs that want to acquire him on the cheap if they can unsettle him - Bayern, Juventus and Liverpool et al. Add to that a second agenda - Foden playing in our team undermines the ‘buying success’ narrative favoured by those in the media that despise us. Foden is also set to become the face of a very successful youth academy that too many football commentators want to deny exists - it’s not good press to have City’s owners investing in long term community based projects when you want to depict them as murderers and human rights abusers.

Yep, the ****s in the media are clearly backing the wrong horse if they think they are siding with the people's choice. This is just plain wrong. City have played the last 2 games almost perfect, yes only 2 , 1-0 wins , but 15 changes created in each game
and did only give ONE change away in both games . How is that playing badly ??????????????
Why are they talking City down like that ?
I think that the media want Liverpool to win but almost everybody else dont want Liverpool to win, these last few days I have been approached
by , United fans,Tottenham fan,Arsenal fan and Everton fan and all of them said they wanted City to win it rather then Liverpool.
Dipper ex-players and fans have a completely disproportionate presence in the media, so the media think the dippers are the people's choice.Yep, the ****s in the media are clearly backing the wrong horse if they think they are siding with the people's choice.
I think the braodcast media and the tabloids are well out of touch with most fans and that's why their audience and reader figures are all plunging. A lot of them have failed to realise that Liverpool and the Rags may well have the biggest fanbases but when you combine the figures for those fans who don't support these two it will be much larger.Yep, the ****s in the media are clearly backing the wrong horse if they think they are siding with the people's choice.
