I think the question is why let an outside source whoever it is sell them. Why not just sell them through the Club. At lots of games there are many many empty seats together. Posters on here think that ticket agencies and sponsers like Thomas Cook ect are allocated them and cant shift them, but fans cant get them through the club .seems a very strange way of doing business. Another problem is segregation what checks if any do they make to ensure it City fans getting them ?

Br88 on here is trying to buy a ticket for Schalke next week but can’t get one through the club.
It just seems to be odd when there’s loads of seats availble. Should he get one from Ryanair?

Because it allows away fans to buy tickets in our parts .
Do you want to have Rags sat next to you at the Derby. ?
So you go along with the fact that City are pumping out tickets through third party's without giving our fans chance to buy direct ?

I believe it's only for selected games and I can't imagine they'd do this for games like the derby or Liverpool but I'll ask the question about how they will ensure the safety of home fans in the areas being sold. I do agree that it's somewhat bizarre that you can't get a ticket for the Watford game on Saturday from the club's website but can from the Ryanair website. It also explains why there seems to have been a block of emty seats at the front of 109 sometimes, as that seems to be where some of the Ryanair tickets are.

think the Rags and liverpool have had this for 20+ years, i can remember seeing in various countries, ireland being the most obvious one, where you could walk in off the high street and buy a ticket, hotel, travel deal for United while they were obviously pretty hard to come by for fans in Manchester (or London ha) around the 2000s.

it's just big succesful clubs, they actually dont really care about fans, they just make money. City is the same really. They will always put on a front tho, "Our City" and so forth.
 
Often there is large group of seats vacant on home games .Whether its sponsers or agencies or comps that are dished out by the club and people cant be arsed going I don't know .But it crackers when people on here want to go and cant get a ticket or people want 2,3, or 4 together and told there isnt any but the vast majority of the games there is. It cant be rocket science to sort out can it ?
 
I was hoping to buy away tickets for Swansea and Fulham but Fulham has already sold out and I imagine Swansea will before it hits my loyalty points.

I also noticed on the website that both Spurs and Leicester (which is in bloody May) have already sold out too. Now this doesn't affect me as I'm a season card holder but it struck me that getting tickets is becoming harder and harder.

Is this just a symptom of our success, or something else? Or am I wrong, are people finding it similar to how it's been over the last few years? Thoughts blues.

We have more fans who attend more regularly hence they have more points. More people want to go!! Ignore the media myth aka Emptihad!! Our fan base is becoming mega
 
Unless you want to go to Champions League games - you could get a row to yourself next Tuesday.

And this is not a dig, just an observation. I'm a season ticket holder myself but at the risk of opening up an old debate I've never quite understood why so many wouldn't want to cheer the boys into the quarter finals.

Swansea is down to 4000 points from 3PM today, so you should be OK there.
 
We've not played Fulham for a few years and it is the best London away day (by a distance), so not surprised its proved very popular.

I don't agree with the club putting all home games on sale at the beginning of the season but if the games are sold out, its sort of proven their point. There is a good probability that some of the tickets will be in the hands of touts, but I doubt the club are that arsed - they're all sold as far as they are concerned.

I know a bloke and his teenage son who have season cards at both City and Leeds. They go to about half the home games at each. I can’t imagine there are that many fans who do similar but who knows. It might explain some of the empty seats and why tickets are getting more difficult to buy.

its no surprise, a terrible KO time and no trains back. City fans stitched up again. its so fucking obvious its not true. two South Wales ties, both Saturday night, both no trains, both with no trains back Sunday.

a clear fucking agenda right there.

watch the un filling of the away end get flagged very early on.

They won't mention the away end until after they confirm the value of the City team on show, including salaries then turn to the bench and confirm that Swansea's squad are valued at a fraction of our subs, at this point they will probably turn to the away end.
 
As a set of supporters we are ridiculously half-hearted.

It's Swansea on a Saturday afternoon, not Vladivostok on Wednesday night.

It's a winnable FA Cup quarter final, we are still alive in three competitions, we have an amazing manager and team and we play some of the best football on the planet.

If we don't sell out for this one then it's a disgrace.

Since when has 1720 been afternoon.
And whats the fact that it's winnable got to do with it.
And in case you hadn't noticed our last four games have been away.
I went Newport/Shalke/Wembley then Bournemouth and yes I'm doing Swansea.
But not all fans can afford it and people have family commitments ( my Mrs is not too happy) so calling people out is not on.
