I've read a couple of your replies now, and I haven't the foggiest what you are going on about, but this makes no sense whatsoever.

Football fans round the world want to watch the best football, and we play it, so we probably bring in as much money as any of the cartel clubs, particularly in relation to advertising, their main income source.

You don't seem to know the difference between FFP, and transfers, but there is an ocean of difference.

You’re right. I admit I don’t understand why we seem to be a target for all the authorities in the game. I hope theclub smash UEFA.

My point about the income is related to the number of fans worldwide who pay to view & certain clubs have many more fans than us - & they provide all the related agencies that support UEFA

The press will get on the back of this, watch out for the fake bids from Real, Barca, PSG etc. for our key players. The media will print or say anything they can in order to spin negative vibes in the direction of our beloved club. Players unhappy at city etc etc. I must admit I worry about Peps opinion regarding all this.

We sound very confident. If we were given a transfer ban we would just appeal it, and we would have the summer to get a few new players. Our squad is so good, with a mix of young and more experienced players, that we could actually cope with a transfer ban for 2 windows.
They can't issue a transfer ban, I think that's Fifa, but they can ban us from Europe.

City have responded

Manchester City welcomes the opening of a formal UEFA investigation as an opportunity to bring to an end the speculation resulting from the illegal hacking and out of context publication of City emails.
The accusation of financial irregularities are entirely false. The Club’s published accounts are full and complete and a matter of legal and regulatory record.

“The accusation of financial irregularities are entirely false”.

Good to see such unequivocally strong wording from the club. No nonsense

Like I said I don't know for certain, but we follow the club, and I get the feeling everything at City is done above board, we're all sick of this but we must all turn up for Schalke and get behind the team. Some comments saying I won't give uefa a penny and not going to games hurts City and the team, let's get behind the team and show these bent bastards.
It is an individual decision on going to a CL match and I prefer to give them a miss.

I have always felt they kept changing the format and adding more cannon fodder just to feather their own nest and those of the established European Royalty. We came along and put the wind up them, so the rules started changing and then that FFP thing got invented to protect teams from bankruptcy - so they tried to convince us.

The organisation of UEFA is dishonest at best and more probably corrupt, just ask Mr Platini.

I trust the people running our Club to put these twats firmly in their place.

First question at the presser tomorrow, will you leave if the club are proven liars?

Is there a duty on our part to co-operate with their investigation or can we simply tell them to fuck off?

Hmmmm, never show your hand to early, interesting that prestwich blue posted about a court hearing in Belgium about ffp and a mr Jean -Louis DuPont coming away from the hearing in upbeat mood, roll on today and this statement from uefa regards investigaton into Manchester City,we then issue counter statement welcoming the investigation, surely not a coincidence..

Peps already said he’s been assured the club have done nothing wrong and he trusts them

Nothings happened to make him change his opinion

So you are saying we’re criminals?
We’ll get a transfer ban?

Good grief
Nope not at all, you know as well as I do money has crossed palms either on young talent, agent fees Inc 3rd party or made up sponsors which ever way we all look at it we arnt fully innocent.

UEFA on the other hand are no angels therefore both party's won't want each other in court.

This feels like a fairly important moment in the club's history.

We had our first run in with UEFA and took their slap on the wrist and let them have their PR victory, and everyone moved on, seemingly happy to live in the state of "you're not really doing what we want, but you're not challenging us either".

Now it's reared it's head again I feel the club need to either take on UEFA & FFP or accept it and fall in line. There needs to be a resolution one way or the other.

Any kind of behind the scenes deals, taking little punishments in public and then trying every trick in the book to get around FFP without breaking it (which seems to be the MO for the last 5 years) isn't going to work anymore IMO.

How do we fall in line? We aren't failing ffp anymore are we?

we should fuck uefa right off and walk away

i would love manchester city to walk out in the game next week in bright yellow shirts with fuck uefa in bright pink with this song blaring out

Doesn't mean they don't pay to watch us though, and that's my point. If their team isn't playing, and there are millions (probably billions), who don't support the old G14 cartel clubs, and they'll pay to watch the best football, and generally we play it.

Yup. I have no doubt that actual evidence will be at a premium and regarded as almost academic by UEFA anyway, because they intend to ban us come what may. The last 4 months have just been about them looking at the most morally credible justification they can come up with for it.
And to be honest I don’t think I could give a fuck anymore. The competition, as we saw when we were handed Lahoz and as we saw again in Paris last night, is as bent as a nine bob note. I’d also expect the ban to be sufficiently lengthy as to “encourage” our best players to leave. City will need to go to Court, but whilst we all know that FFP is bullshit protectionism, there is no guarantee the law will see it that way as well. I was amazed about 3 months ago when Pep said our owners had assured him we would not be banned, as I wouldn’t rate that call at anymore than about 50:50. UEFA is a dog and the G14 are the tail which wag it. There’s no point in them banning us for a season or two, because we will just come back stronger and more savvy. The blow they will wish to deal us will need to be fatal. These are absolute cnuts we’re dealing with and they’ve never been anything but cnuts. Batten down the hatches, game on!

So you think they will ban us for three seasons or more ?

Bullshit.

Don't worry about Pep, he's off to Juve.
