Just watching back the game via BT Sports. Peter Walton, come on man, at least try to hide your bias...
According to him, not only was yesterday's first goal debatable, or even just the wrong decision, it was the decision that the whole of football and the premier league didn't want.
I'd say nobody likes winning games via incorrect decisions, but I can think of plenty of managers in our league who'd not apologise for it at full time, merely snigger and move on. Woke up this morning and western civilisation is still here, football hasn't spontaneously combusted.. So, sod 'em.
Wonder what he said about any of Liverpool's debatable offside this season? He can understand why they were given? Debatable but just reward for Cilla's little soldiers?

Couldnt care less what he writes about other clubs. He’s normally bang on with city, objective but not biased for sure.
I sit infront of the media section in the CB1. He was there yesterday as he appreciates what we do, but no other “senior” reporter was there that I could see.

So if Liverpool win today they will go one point ahead of us according to the BBC, not only is their reporting on our Club appalling they can not even do basic mathematics.

Seems they still think this is correct. If you look at their 'predict the top six' article and note that in the top six form guide the teams are seemingly listed in league position order (well, Spurs, Utd, Arse and Chelsea are)

End of season review: Liverpool narrowly missed out on the Premier League and Champions League, but only because of an offside goal for Sterling, long grass at the Etihad, slightly windy conditions at Anfield, and a completely hostile chorus of abuse in the away games. But meanwhile, despite failing again to win any trophies, Virgil gets PFA player of the year, with Mane and Salah completing a heroic triple. City, having win four trophies, still await the verdict of the completely uncorrupt FiFA, UeFa, FA, etc, and North Korea get to co-host the next Women’s World Cup Finals. Fantasy, maybe, but it could well happen.

To be called world class you have to be good enough to get in any team in the world, and you have to sustain that ability over a period of time.
On that basis I'd say Harry Kane and Kyle Walker are the only English players of the current crop I'd be comfortable calling world class.
Raheem Sterling is close to joining them — ask me in 12 months and if he carries on his form like this, you couldn't argue.
