I get the 'ignore it', and don't follow/click on such shite. I and I personally don't, however it's other club's fans and the general public that read it, lap it up and take it for truth. Especially the human rights angle many take. (While ignoring other club's involvement in some less that squeaky clean investors/backers of course)

It all adds to these attempts to discredit City and it's achievements, both on and off the pitch and that does need taking seriously by the club, yes.

Fake news reception committee.....

BBC website at it yesterday, right on kick off at Anfield.....

Great atmosphere here at Anfield and not an empty seat in site and that for an early morning game too
If there was no empty seats how many Burnley fans were there as every Liverpool fan says they sit in the Kop end

Best solutions:
Don't read the papers
Don't read the internet except Bluemoon
Don't believe everything you read
Turn up and watch our games and follow the above and repeat

I was on the Radio Manchester phone in Saturday and pointing this out to Lakey about the pep rumours.

My response to their human rights shit is; “do you ever stop to think about that when you’re filling up your car?”

Spot on. It is a cheap trick by the media and rival fans...... repeat or hear a rumour or heresay over and over again and it becomes fact. Absolutely has to be challenged each and every time.

Doesn't make much difference to them anyway. I know plenty of blues that have offered counter arguments against twats like castles and stanloi collymore and they've blocked them.

This might be an age issue.

Older people don't use social media or do not take it as seriously

Younger people hang on every word (not all obviously)

I 48 (so old) and I found it annoying reading it and a few times have dived in. Later I sat back and thought, what am I doing. Let it go.

I preferred the old days, if a rag said out it was usually to your face. Argue, debate, fight or flight

48 is not old mate!
Young whippersnapper!

The 'Emptyhad' jibe is clear proof of that. We were previously known for our loyal support, especially back in the days of thin and thinner. But following a concerted campaign by a few, our stadium is apparently empty for most games. This myth has trickled down now to people that have no football interest at all. As you say, if it's repeated enough ...

People who use social media all the time are just wannabe pop/tv stars. I don’t follow the real ones either. Any fucker that puckers or tells me what they are having for dinner are cnuts. Btw I am having chili chicken Masala for my supper.
