The biggest problem with last nights win is, it has probably lifted them out of the tail spin the seemed to be in. It looks like well have to win all our matches to win the league.

Comfort yourself in the knowledge that they will drop points and are nowhere near as good a side as we are.

Just fine generally.

I'd heard the name somewhere, but just googled it to confirm it,hockey as I had semi thought, but more than that it seems she's another band wagon jumper, that is in the midst of the Emptihad jibes which they all seem to be using, even a pro sportswoman using it,it is pathetic, and looking on Twitter she trying to play it down as banter.

Even sweeter when they end up with nothing this season, smug fuckers, and she can carry on with her career, and nobody will remember who she actually is or does

Each to their own..
Myself I find it a tad tedious that every time the dippers win a game some hobby Scouse twat mentions City.
A cheap dig at us even though the thick Scouse bitch probably doesn't know we have higher attendances than the dippers.

Exactly, none of them do realise it,all wrapped up in it,and think it's funny, even though it is untrue

Not really. Bayern were absolutely dreadful and Liverpool didn't even play that great. They just did enough. The game was littered with mistakes by both teams and if Liverpool play like that in the quarters they will struggle

I'm all for taking the piss out of Liverpool but nobody can say they "just did enough." Take off the blue tinted specs and just give them a bit of credit.

Yeah, I wasn't looking at her tweets tbh.

Yes Munich where poor but liverpool deserved there win, let's hope for a good draw for us not them, its going to be close come the end of the season, just want us to win back to back league titles.

Good news for City that Liverpool are through. More games for them of course, and also knocking them out over 2 legs could psychologically destroy their season.

Having said that, I'm convinced we are going to win the champions league but lose the premier league narrowly. I know many don't feel the same but I'd take that in a heartbeat.

Got me nervous now!

I think it's bad news. The confidence from beating Bayern regardless of their current squad will give them huge confidence. Winning games is always a good thing. The additional games in the CL might be a physical effort but it is mentally where the title will be won or lost and the distraction is a good thing for Liverpool players and fans alike.

Sat there all week with one competition means it is all you can think about amd the pressure builds.

With regard to the draw, I have no sgame in saying I would prefer to avoid Liverpool. Their record against us at Anfield has a hold on us. It has to end at some point but I would rather they drew Barcelona and had Juve and United their side whilst we got Porto with Spurs playing Ajax.

Our success will be reliant on some luck. Would we have won at Leicester in the league cup if Puel picked a first team? Not the way we played that day. Our FA Cup draw has been favourable.

The only positive about Liverpool being in it is more opportunity for Salah or Van Dijk to be burnt out/injured. They remain hugely reliant on those two.
