The deal is what it is because of her red lines and her subsequent intransigence when it comes to those red lines. Effectively she more or less devised the deal rather than having it inflicted upon her because there was virtually no where else the deal could have gone.
May's red lines were purely decorative, 2 years of negotiations are just a fiction. It was clear just weeks after the referendum the EU would do nothing to help the UK leave, it would be ridiculous for them to do so. Their position was get their danegeld and to push everything into the transition stage - delaying our break for 2 years in their interests - except for the sabotage back stop clause which effectively gives them a huge advantage in future trade negotiations and in so doing to hobbles Brexit. The deal is what it is because of her red lines and her subsequent intransigence when it comes to those red lines. Even if you think the EU was/ is/ and will continue to be our sincere friend and unswerving ally - my description of events is still factual.I suppose if you see everything through the prism of the EU being the enemy or somehow to blame for all our ills then that might make some sense but you won't be surprised to hear that I think everything you have said there is bollocks.
She’s a cünt, George. Your failure to appreciate this suggests you lack judgement. After the poisoned deal inflicted on her by our friendly EU partners it's not surprising.
I have no doubt they loathe us now and would love to get Brexit done because as a nation we have behaved like absolute dick heads but I think they have broadly speaking been very reasonable thus far albeit they have (perfectly reasonably) put their own interests ahead of ours when push comes to shove. But I assume you'd agree that only the most deluded of British people would think we should expect them not to put their interests ahead of ours.Even if you think the EU was/ is/ and will continue to be our sincere friend and unswerving ally - my description of events is still factual.

It's not the EU that have gone wrong here according to the bible George.Matt.7. Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge,ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
You’re getting confused, George. I’m a clever cünt; Theresa is just a cünt.Matt.7. Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge,ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Where is Matt 7. Doesn't post much these days.Matt.7. Judge not, that ye be not judged. Poor lad died about 300 years before that was written.Where is Matt 7. Doesn't post much these days.
Yep, those pesky international peace treaties being used to get in the way of Brexit. Disgusting behaviour by everyone.Good to see someone else can see the true purpose of the backstop
It is not that the sccophants cannot - some perhaps cannot, but for others I suspect that it is just an inconvenient truth they would rather not face up to even so it will cause major damage to their nation

No, No they shouldn't. Bloody jonny foreigner needs to learn their place in the world.I have no doubt they loathe us now and would love to get Brexit done because as a nation we have behaved like absolute dick heads but I think they have broadly speaking been very reasonable thus far albeit they have (perfectly reasonably) put their own interests ahead of ours when push comes to shove. From my point of view, Bercow’s played a blinder. Not sure many Leavers would agree, mind!May I add a serious lack of judgement because if you can't see the way that deal was constructed was all around saving her party and herself then you must be blind. The only saving grace in the house of commons is that Bercow grows a pair and tells her that her deal is dead and that you can't keep pushing for another vote on her deal to bludgeon it through fatigue.
Except he won the HOC vote 412 - 149. I can only imagine that the 550 who now claim to have voted against it were also at York away and the Sex Pistols concert at the Lesser Free Trade Hall........I'm beginning to believe she has the same "Messanic" tendencies towards Brexit as Blair did with the Iraq War.
Not good
