Some home games only. No way would I support them selling tickets for aways, unless those went to general sale or something. They've got seats at the front of 109 and some up in EL3, which is why you can see gaps in 109.If the club are investigating then that's fine. I think most people just want transparency when for some games, not all, the tickets are selling out at high points and then they pop up all over the place. Incidentally if the likes of Ryanair are authorised sellers for away games how many tickets are they receiving and whose allocation are they coming out of?
Tell me what seats & I'll check. Not having a go at you specifically but people tell me about x, y & z then, when I ask them for details, never follow up.On Saturday against Watford one of the fans occupying the seats wasn’t even a fan of either club as all he went on about all game was Liverpool !!!
NoA question for regular away day supporters, if id checks are forced upon us, and for example it's Newcastle on a Tuesday night, with all the pissing about is it likely to effect your approach to attending aways, will you be put off, and will you be inclined to cancel the ticket. The pressure of travelling a long way without your ticket, and the stress of collecting it, will it make you reconsider whether it is worth the hassle

They aren't. They said so. If they were, my brother and his group of friends would have been kicked out long ago and there's about 13 of them in total.I think you will find they are enforcing it as that’s why the 2 seats are empty as they chucked out the 2 that had been sitting there since moving to the stadium .
I`m NOT suggesting that at all.I`m saying that our Branch has a great method of helping some of those members who require tickets,on a fair basis and something that is accepted by one and all.I had never stated that All SC cheat, however I know that some do.
Two of my family members go to games that they would never qualify for under the points system. Funny how their SC always have tickets to help them fill their coach.
Are you actually implying that no SC break the rules?
If not my remarks are valid. imho

Skullduggery by whom though ?Tbf I think he's saying even getting your free tickets for every away game is sort of skullduggary.
You need to understand that all SC do NOT cheat the system and I for one as Chairman of the Mid Cheshire Branch take umbridge with your stupid remarks.
And that ,I accept.I know nothing about your branch and I totally accept that you run it fair and square.
However not all do which I am sure you know because everyone else does.
One and all, does that mean all of your members?I`m NOT suggesting that at all.I`m saying that our Branch has a great method of helping some of those members who require tickets,on a fair basis and something that is accepted by one and all.
I will pm them to you , but as you have already stated it’s up to the club what they enforce it would seem there is no point .Tell me what seats & I'll check. Not having a go at you specifically but people tell me about x, y & z then, when I ask them for details, never follow up.
As has been pointed out Oakie by several posters, it would be nice if there was some transparency from the club, or even Uncle Kev, let everyone know how many tickets each supporter club gets.Skullduggery by whom though ?
The club issue "x" amount of tickets to the Exec Supporters Club, who in turn decide who gets what,if any.
A thankless task for KP if you ask me.
I can 100% assure you the 2 fans in front of us were told they had to move out of the family stand level 2 block 232 . They even contacted the club after realising they hadn’t been sold but were told they couldn’t purchase them as they were now classed as club seats and couldn’t move back into the stand as they now didn’t meet the criteria of the stand .They aren't. They said so. If they were, my brother and his group of friends would have been kicked out long ago and there's about 13 of them in total.
Of course some of them havn`t and you must be very naive to think otherwise. That is the biggest reason most people join a Branch for,in the hope that a ticket may eventually come their way.One and all, does that mean all of your members.
Can you honestly say that everyone you have ever sold or given a ticket to has had enough points to quailify in their own right?
So people with higher points owners miss out on tickets not sure they think it is very fair.Of course some of them havn`t and you must be very naive to think otherwise. That is the biggest reason most people join a Branch for,in the hope that a ticket may eventually come their way.
Yes,one and all does mean ALL members.
The one and only scenario where ID checks would be even remotely acceptable is if every single away ticket with zero exceptions was sold to loyalty point holders. No queue jumping corporate seat holders, no mates running supprters clubs handing them out, no allowing these dubious websites to get their hands on rows of tickets to do with as they please. Just the entire allocation all sold via points with no method of getting around the system, otherwise it only alienates the common regular fan from the rest and further increases disharmony between the fanbase.
Let's say I was going to united away having got my ticket via my points only to be informed I must go through an ID process to get my ticket and then i see a guy who's got his ticket from his mate who runs a supporters club on his first away day of the season strolling passed me, followed by another guy who's splashed out thousands on a corporate seat at home and is now entitled to away tickets whenever despite only buying it last season both entering the ground with no checks, it's going to leave a lot of people very very pissed off and I guarantee there will be problems caused from it. It's essentially creating a class system within our support
If those members have sufficient points then they have to apply via the Club anyway. So people with higher points owners miss out on tickets not sure they think it is very fair.
My point that SC are cheating wasn't so stupid after all? Especially if you maintain yours is a well run SC, I would be interested to hear exactly what the badly run ones do?
As I have maintain all along the whole system is flawed.
I have just found a different way around the system that doesn't involve SC.
