CL QF Draw - City V Spurs ===== SF V Ajax (If we get there)

Think Liverpool is a good draw here - City have been clearly better than them in Head to Heads this year, and a convincing win also damages Liverpool's confidence in the League. If Liverpool are considered a team to be feared then, you might as well just hand them the league too. City are better.

Can teams from the same city play at home on the same night?
In short, no.

Manchester City and Manchester United cannot play at home on the same day or even consecutive nights and therefore the team which finished lower in the Premier League last season - in this case United - will be forced to reverse the tie if they both draw home legs first.

So, United will get to play away first, which is an advantage. Great!

Marcel Van Der Kraan – De Telegraaf in Amsterdam: “Ajax fans wouldn’t want to play Manchester City... Wow! That is the Pep Guardiola style and the Pep Guardiola style is the Johann Cruyff style and the Johan Cruyff style is the Ajax style.

"In one way it would be a great clash but it would be a really, really difficult opponent and hurdle. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, anyone but City, even Barcelona.”

Come on hands up, how many thought someone would ever say that when all those years we were shit

Can't believe we still have people on this forum subscribing to the myth that these draws are rigged against us. The draws couldn't really have been any kinder on us for quite a few years now.
