Obviously need a left back as we can't rely on Mendy.
Chilwell though, all a bit 'meh'

Who would you suggest then, considering the need to replace a HG player in Delph? Aside from Angelino and Tierney who play in very weak leagues?

Chilwell is England's starting fullback with PL experience, he's probably the best solution available - for the right price, of course. Doubt City are going to offer more than 40-50m.

And I think Pep is not giving up on Mendy yet, so we need a good competitor and back up for him, not a replacement.

Bravo out, Muric in (home grown and club trained).
Delph out, Angelino in (home grown and club trained).
Leaves us with an empty home grown spot and an empty foreign spot to bring in a midfielder.

Angelino had his chances at City and Girona and failed, currently plays in Ere which is arguably weaker that Championship. Nothing suggests that Pep would want him back.

I reckon Bravo will see out his contract with Muric going on loan again.

I hope Leicester stick to their guns. At that price you'd be hoping for an undisputed top five defender in the world. Not Ben fucking Chilwell.

I was thinking about this earlier though. Imagine a side that has world class players like De Bruyne, Aguero, Silva, Bernardo, Sterling, Sane, Fernandinho, Laporte, Stones, Ederson, etc and yet Ben Chilwell would be the most expensive of the lot lmao.

His passing is shite!

Just seen that stat above: 70% pass competition. He wouldn’t be able to get a game for us, that’s quite frankly appalling!

Are we even after him though? Pep might just be having a look at him to see if he is good enough. I hope he looks elsewhere, be the most underwhelming signing since Scott Sinclair for me.
