Ben Chilwell

He would if he was good. Unfortunately he's bang average and I'd much rather use Zinchenko there than sign this clown for £50m.

He is plenty good enough, certainly not a clown as you ridiculously put it.He's strong,fit,reliable/dependable,composed and technically efficient.

Him and Zinchenko will serve us well, both have great attitude, they will push each other, and neither will let us down.

This is all if the above 'info' is even factual.

He's not particularly fast, is poor with the ball at his fault and is all round average.

Take the bit about his attitude but he's nowhere near good emigh for us and it would be a terrible waste of money.

I guess time will tell/prove.

I still have huge doubts about the info.

Leicester ITK saying Chilwell to us is basically a done deal.

At the risk of sounding like I’m playing Champ Manager would a swap deal for Mahrez make more sense than spending the money?

Problem is, Tierney would take up foreign spot. Scottish players don't count towards HG quota.
Currently Bravo, Mangala and Sandler are in the PL squad (Bravo and Sandler in CL squad as well), and all 3 of them might be gone/on loan next season. That gives space for a foreign LB and DM

And Pep will have seen a player he can improve.

He really not on the level we need, as people here said before, if he did not have an English passport he was not even a candidate at all. I would really prefer to give up LB and bring a CB like De Ligt.
