FA Cup Semi Final draw - Brighton

Maybe in a few years we will manage to sell out games like this but at the moment we are still a small club support wise.

I will be there, its a struggle but this team deserves it and you never know when it will end.

We would sell it out if we didn't have anything else to play for we've done it many times. Money & to many games is the problem.

Must be a complete wind up of a post. First thought was a dipper under cover but then I saw over 6000 posts. Maybe have a look at actual stats before you post tripe like this ?

Not so sure its too many games or money as the games we are playing in April are either home games or away games where the vast majority of fans cant even get tickets. Think there are people who cant afford it obviously but many just cant be arsed.

would love to go, but can't afford it. truth is though a lot of our fans can't be arsed going. i know 3 season ticket holders who can't be bothered.

It’s not the cash for me. You could put me down as “can’t be arsed” but that only tells half the story. The truth is that it isn’t that big an attraction to me to give up a whole weekend to watch us trying to break down 11 men behind the ball.

10 years ago I’d have flown from Australia to see us in a cup semi final at Wembley. Now it’s not even in the top ten biggest games of the season. I’m getting older I suppose but the truth is that City, and me, have bigger fish to fry.

None of my close mates are going that I know of either.

Good points,we are sort of victims of our own success,in that a good majority of teams ( premier league) are frightened of taking a hammering from us and play 11 men behind the ball ( although to be fair I can understand it slightly)..

The fact pints of Camden Pale Ale in the stadium are £6.20 should be justification enough for holding Semi Finals elsewhere, I'll be getting to the ground as late as possible on Saturday!

Would be nice to see this thread return to people buzzing about Saturday and discussing drinking routes rather than moaning or worrying about empty seats, what will be will be.
Join me in spoons in Harrow before hand. You will get a round in for your £6.20.

I can understand it too but it makes many home games devoid of excitement. Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving this City team more than any other, and will be there tomorrow as always, but you know what it will be like: just a question of can we break them down and then how quickly can we get to 3 when we can rest players.

Not having that DD. Get the tickets tomorrow and get to the semi. Lifes too short.

Mate, I’ve been watching city home and away for 43 years, for well over 1000 games at over 60 grounds. I’ve been to every big game the club have played through that time. I’ve stood undercover in the Stretford end, the North Bank and the Kop. I’ve beaten the away fans ban at Luton. I’ve blagged and bribed my way into grounds where I couldn’t get a ticket. I went to every away game in division 3. I’ve watched is all over Europe. My kids are city fans and a number of mates have become blues because I’ve taken them.

Shove your pontification up your arse.

Well, given that a) I live in the south and b) I only come to four or five games a year, being on open sale means I can go to an FA Cup semi final without the needed legerdemain to get a ticket. So I'm delighted, and all those moaning can fuck off. ;-)

See you all there blues.
me too!
