It was semi-final or spurs for me spurs meant a day off and £60 for ticket plus travel couldn't afford both so this was a no brainer.

I won't be at the game tonight I'd have to take two days off work just to go tonight, I'll be there Saturday against Brighton it's costing me a lot of money getting flights, hotel, ticket, spending money ect Plus I've a holiday to pay off and the missus feels like killing me :)Exactly. You wont hurt my feelings mate .Am watching it in the house with my family .Would have cost a fortune for us all to go to WembleyUnderstand that fully,but does not excuse the other 30 thousand who wont be able to make these away games who use it as an excuse and really cant be srsed.
We had a good loyal support with 40k averages on the run up to HRH buying us but thats no good if we are outnumbered by a club like Brighton on Sat.

The rain that day (and against Chelsea in the semi, albeit less so) was crazy.I remember being at the cup final against Wigan. We must have had three quarters of the ground and lost. Having more fans there didn't help us one iota. As I walked out getting piss wet through in the torrential rain I thought, " Oh well we had more fans there so I don't feel too bad, at least we won't get mocked on social media."
