Job done. Cruised to 3 points in 2nd gear. For me only Mahrez looked out of place. Don't know what's up with him. Wether it's a case of he was a decent player in a poor team and now he looks average in a top team or what? Just doesn't cut the mustard for me. RAWK were adamant we were dropping points tonight - more so in desperation than anything else.

6 more to go. I reckon we will still be top after Friday. Then 4 clear after Palace game, putting huge pressure on the candle worshippers before Chelsea. Lovely jubbly.

Dare I say it, birthday boy was possibly the weak link, not in terms of link up play, but in terms of finishing. Sure he’ll come good Saturday tea time though.

Apparently, statistcally he has already come good - and he works his socks off.

I don’t, that’s for sure. Last one I saw was Peter Kay, and he was absolutely average compared to his tv shows.

So, Gundo didn't play today and not being slated (so far). Good for him. He passed the baton to the two other designated "sh*thouses" Jesus and Mahrez. They played well and we won. Leave them alone ffs

Ok, well, to my eyes, although his all round game, link up play etc looked decent, his finishing didn’t, but I’m not gonna argue with stats obviously.

As I said in the match thread, switch Mahrez for Bernardo from the start and this game ends 5-0 (at least).

Great performances from so many players, only Riyad looked a level below.

The last two games have been great in terms of energy conserved but I hope we don't find it hard to get back up to top speed as in the past this has been a difficult transition.
