Plus Danilo looked shattered at the end, play 3 at back with Laporte left side we have donw before lets face it they don't need to defend much, thats extra midfielder may help break them down.

That’s been in the past though, I can’t remember the last time he had anything other than a good game, hence the clamour for him to get more game time.

If Mendy or Delph are fit he may go with one of them though as it was a worry last night when both Danilo and Kyle picked up knocks. The burden needs to be shared.

I think Kompany will play if he can manage the 90 for that reason.
 
Surely he goes strongest team possible win the game, avoid extra time and move on.
Too many changes is not always good.
 
The way Pep is managing Foden's game time (as well as Fidden's & Fodden's..)
makes me doubt he will start again only 3 days after his first full PL match.

Gundogan, Bernardo, David and Sterling have had a rest and surely would be able to start Brighton AND spurs.
After that we have 5 days before Palace kicks off. That's some good rest.

Danilo wasn't shattered, he took a late body check and couldn't breathe deeply. Should be ok.

Is Otamendi injured? Otherwise he should get a start, also to give Laporte a rest as a potential cover for LB post Brighton.

I am completely in the Mendy-is-in-the-doghouse camp. Before Pep gives him a shirt he would try any other possible option for LB.
Besides that I personally doubt Mendy is fully fit like once was. And far from being match fit at all.

I hope Vinnie is fit for Wembley.

He's right with all that.

What a decent human being he is Chris Hughton too, always comes across well and doesn't seem to have a bad word against anyone.
 
Foden at LB? Give me strength. On par with Petrov whoever suggested that a few years back.

I might be wrong but I thought Danilo played at LB in a cup final? V Arsenal maybe? And he played well from memory

Hope we show Brighton respect, best starting 11, get the game won early doors then bring players off ready for Spurs

Danny really isn't a great LB,pep did say yesterday he did ok there but it really isn't his position and that he will find a solution,expect something we never thought of ha
