Anyone else got a bad feeling about Saturday?

We have numerous fans suggesting we should rest players and prioritise Spurs. There are literally thousands staying away because they want to save up for the final. Threads about the Quadruple. Players, who we need available, out in night clubs till 3am.

We should play our best 11 available. It's the semi-final of the FA cup for gods sake! We will never get a better chance to win it, so let's not slip up due to complacency.

25000 have bought tickets apparently- despite the game kicking off at 5.30 meaning no trains home if it goes to extra time. Disgusting inconsideration for fans.

Just to dispel the rumour about no return trains again, these services back to Manchester are available should the match go to extra time and penalties...

Given that the team selected for the 3rd round against Rotherham was Ederson, Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Zinchenko, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Foden, Mahrez, Jesus and Sterling, I think it's fair to say that Guardiola takes this competition seriously. I expect a very strong side to be put out.

Would agree except for having to face Spuds mid week and having to ensure we dont give ourselves a mountain to climb in the return leg. Interesting discussion on the radio driving home from the game. Not sure who was speaking but basically said Pep will see Tues as being more important than Sat so will pick his starting 11 for Spuds and then work back from that to determine who will face Brighton

Normally takes 1 hour 40 to Macc direct. Last time I looked, I think these trains take up to 3 times longer & involve 1 or more changes - Staffordshire leg involving a bus. Has that now changed?

I’m coming back Monday !!!

None whatsoever, and you appear to be in a minority. Chill and enjoy the ride

Yes, I'd guess that's exactly how he'd do it. At least there are three days between the games - don't the physios say three days is fine for rest, but two days is a disaster?

No. Stafford - Stoke - Macc is shut on Saturday evening so all trains are back via Wilmslow, with a coach connection out of the 2124 at Stafford for Stoke and Macc.

No. After 19 wins in the last 20 games I can’t see why anyone would.

Brighton are flirting with relegation for a reason. If we get beat Sat it would be on a par with the Wigan shock.

At the moment I think we look like beating everyone we play. Around Xmas and Jan I wasn’t saying that as I thought we looked a bit iffy despite winning games. We now look rock solid and totally in control.

I’d be surprised if we don’t win by 2 or more goals.
