How many trophies will we win?

Pep would want to win two quads in a row if we managed to do it! He’s going nowhere for the next 3 years!

The Quadruple is, unfortunately, a pipe dream. I think we’ll win the FA Cup but fall just short in the CL and PL - it would still be a great season though. Being in the conversation for all major honours in April is some achievement

Certainly is a high quality problem. I’d take his resignation in return for the big one.
Not me. I'd take not winning the CL, bent trophy from a corrupt load of wankers that it is, for as long as we retain Pep as manager.

We're just going to get better and better and better under Pep, and him leaving us will be a sad day for me. In that context, I could barely give a stuff about the CL tbh.

Bloody hell, mate. Winning the Champions League would be the pinnacle of nearly 50 years supporting City for me. It would be the highest point in the club’s history.

Of course I agree that I would be heartbroken losing Pep though.

I think we will win 3. We are the best team in all four competitions but there’s always that freak result, that sending off, that whirlwind of bad luck, that results in a defeat. We really could have done with a little cushion in the league because I think the players will be focusing more on the champions league and there’s a defeat coming somewhere.

I love Pep ... he shares my view that the Community Shield was the first one this season ... so two down, three to go, what’s this Quad nonsense?

After all “the greatest of all time” as per them all (Fergie) counts them all in his list of trophies so why shouldn’t Pep?

It may as well be called the European Super cup for now, what with its lack of mainstream tv coverage.
Give it back to the masses and it might just surpass it's own inflated sense of appeal.

It’s still the most prestigious in the world. It’s the one the Sheikh, Pep and the players want most of all. And me.

We really could do with winning the Champs league,it will cement us as one of the greats and it will cause untold pain to the Rags and the Dippers.

I'm dreading a draw let alone a defeat.

That’s why those flukey Liverpool wins hurt so much. One is coming. With all the games we’ve got we needed that 3-4 point cushion. We can stand one bad night in a Champions League game but in the league it could cost us the trophy.

I think I’d rather lose the FA Cup final than a league game now.

Of course I'd like us to win it, that goes without saying.

I was simply replying to your post that you'd take Pep's resignation in return for us winning the CL. Not for me. Some of the games last season - memorably Arsenal at our place, for example - were, for me, the best football I have ever seen. That 2nd goal with Sane, Aguero and Silva all playing absolutely sublime 1 and 2 touch and Arsenal chasing shadows until the beautiful lay off by Aguero, magnificent touch and finish from Silva: I'd take more seasons of that over any individual trophy, even the CL.
