How many trophies will we win?

League Cup - won
FA Cup - Winners or runners-up. I think we will win it
League - winners or runners-up. I think we will be runners up
CL - Quarter Finals or better. I can see us getting to the final.

That is some season regardless of the actual outcomes

I think this is a very realistic expectations and anything which comes above that is a huge boost. Am certainly awaiting for a Champions League and also a treble surely.

After getting to the FA Cup Final, we're now at 5 or 6% for the quadruple.

I'll be optimistic just to stress how difficult this will be

FA Cup: 70%
Premier League: 55%
Champions League: Spurs 65%, Semis 50%, Final 50%

That gets you to 6%. If anything it should really be less as if we go all the way in all comps, the league is going to get very difficult. Playing a Brighton at Wembley and recovering from it is one thing, but playing a Spurs or Juventus CL semi-final is another. Remember the impact of the Liverpool CL quarter-final last season?

FA Cup.

If we played the final 100 times I would go at normal time. 70 wins 20 draws 10 loses. extra time for the 20 draws about same ratio so 14 4 2. Pens 50/50

So that gives 86% chance of winning it.

League.

I think this is 50/50

CL.

It sounds arrogant but I see us a much better than Spurs and winning the tie 3/4 so 75%.

In a CL tie or one off final my percentages are-

Juventus 55%
Ajax 60%.
Bara 45%
Liverpool 50%
Porto 75%
Utd hahahhaaha 100% (65% really)

so

Juve/Barca 8%
Ajax/Barca 9%
Juve/Liverpool 9%
Ajax/Liverpool 10%
Juve/Porto 13%
Ajax/Porto 14%
Juve/Utd 11%
Ajax/Utd 12%

All a bit of fun at the moment. Still very unlikely but we can dream.

After we play Utd in 15 days will have a much clearer idea of where we are. Personally I think that the league will be out of hands after that game but we will be through to the semi final of the CL.

What ever happens we’ve had an amazing season up until now and I’m going to try and take it all in and enjoy it.

Come on City!

So have I summarised your view correctly?
League: 50%
FA Cup: 86%
CL: Spurs 75%, Juve (semi-final) 55%, Barca (final) 45% (There are other semi-final and final permutations, but keeping it simple gone with likeliest opponents).

That comes to 8% for the quadruple. I have it at 5-6%

This is why Pep keeps telling the media it's not happening. When it falls apart, they are going to bury City. "Pep's a failure until he wins the Champions League."

Yes 8% chance against our most likely oponents. So agree very unlikely at this stage.

A big win tonight for both us and Liverpool. We beat Palace Liverpooldraw/lose with Chelsea and 'IT'S ON!' OR maybe about 12% chance. It's a fun game to play.

Agree their building us up. He's playing it correctly IMO. My favorite for this was Mancini and 'Utd are favories' even after we had beaten Newcastle and had an easy (cough) home game left.

Another way to look at this is IF with 3 games to go if we had to beat Brighton, Watford and the weakest team left in CL Porto to do the Quinn what would the odds be? I'd have us at 80%x86%X75% = 52% so only about 1 in 2 even at that late stage.

Very true, I had us at 53%. Puts it in perspective when we're quite a way away yet.

Imagine the piss that would boil if our knockout draws to win the Champions League were Schalke, Spurs, Ajax, Porto. I hope it happens just for the reactions

It would almost be as jammy as beating Brugge, BMG, Benfica, Dresden and getting a bye in one round. Or maybe playing against Dundalk and a Finnish 10 pin bowling club.

Or winning the Europa League after finishing second in a group consisting of Feyenoord, Zorya Luhansk, and Fenerbahce and then getting Saint-Etienne, Rostov, Anderlecht, and Celta Vigo in the knockouts and Ajax in the final.

Yes exactly.

If you disagree, which outcome do you disagree with then? My predictions are on the optimistic side precisely to demonstrate just how unlikely it is.
Need to factor in the knock-on effects.
Beat spurs in CL are we more or less likely to win PL & FAC?

Statistically makes no difference but psychologically big difference.

Do we include charity shield?
If so charity sheild , won
League cup or whatever its called , won
FA Cup ,win
CL, semi Final
League, i hope im wrong!

Eh? We only have to win 3 games to win the CL, as long as we don't throw away the aggregate lead in the second leg.
We don’t have to win any games left in any of the cups to win both cups

All media outlets now rightly talking about aboout our chances of the impossible quadruple. I don't mind them doing so either at this stage of the season. Our issue is they start this all the way back in January and put the talk of it on our fans getting giddy and that's what annoys us. Luckily most are wise to it. Take yesterdays pre-match, you can tell Sky were looking for fans to say "we're going to do it"... and most went "not gonna happen really".

Here are potential scenarios and how I perceive them.

Slight disappointment.

a) 1 Cup: Carabao - represents a disappointing season, and one that we don't think our team deserve.
b) 2 Cups: Caraboa and FA Cup - still would be disappointing for us but I think Pep/players/fans really do want that FA Cup win, it's been a while. We've come a long way to see this haul as an underacheivement.

Happy enough after tough season:

c) 2 Cups: Caraboa and Premier League - The Premier League being retained will be a monumental acheivement due to the sheer number of games we've played.
d) 2 Cups: Caraboa and Champs League - This would also be incredible, because the pressure of losing the PL and FA Cup in quick succession rounds of a season with the hardest competition to win. The downside is Liverpool - but United would take it harder than us thankfully.

Fantastic season:

e) 3 Cups; Caraboa, FA Cup, Premier League
f) 3 Cups: Caraboa, FA Cup, Champs League
g) 3 Cups; Caraboa, Premier League, Champs League.

Unbelievable stuff:

h) 4 Cups: Caraboa, FA Cup, Premier Leauge, Champs League.

How would you rate a season in which we won the domestic treble but lost to United or Liverpool in the CL final?

This is the sort of thing I think about at 4 in the morning.

Even sadder, I mentally calculated the odds of it happening. It came out at roughly 3% which I thought was worryingly high.

I’d feel a lot better than if we only end up with the Carabao Cup.

Feel sorry for the ref explaining clear and obvious to 4 thick as fuck ex footballers
Bt is appalling
