Why we will win the league!

Perhaps so... but if you believe that there's no room for slip up - then you believe that Liverpool will run the table... I'm not so sure of the later.
I am thinking they will win their remaining games yes. I have stated it a few times but one clanger will be curtains for either team.

well, 2 problems with this:
1. a huge market like this, with 2 runners, is largely dictated by the punters with the bookies shifting their odds to accomodate losses. The price is driven by opinion in this instance, not so much bookie knowledge.
2. City's odds have moved from 1/7 to nearly evens....

if we win it this season, it will be a remarkable achievement. That's all i say on the matter.

I can't believe we were ever 1/7 this season or anywhere close.

We have more margin given it's currently in our hands and we have positive history at clinching squeakers. I could see us drawing at (say) United, but Liverpool dropping points at Newcastle or Wolves when the pressure will be unbearable. I also think their luck is going to turn at some stage. Rather than Hazard missing from point blank range, someone is going to score a Townsender against them, a lucky scrambled goal or an Allison fuck-up.

Their luck has lasted 34 games,i can't see it changing now and that's not counting the officials support

Imo the dips will win their remaining league games.

We will need to win ours.

I think some posters need to take a step back. Forget the season so far, forget the dips’ luck and our wobble and look it it rationally.....

If someone would’ve offered me the option of this group of players needing to win 2 games against Spurs and Leicester at home and 3 games against the scum, Burnley and Brighton away as the last 5 games, to retain the title I’d have taken it all day, every day.

We’re more than good enough to do it and more importantly, v Palace, they looked like they fucking want to do it.

.

I think we've all been hoping Liverpool drop points, and tbf they don't look like they're gonna.

City wont drop points, utd aren't contenders anymore, spurs will be a tough game because both teams are hunting points, but we can put three past them & take the win, pouring the pressure on.

Blow by blow, we're top. The lads won't lose sight of that :)

Anyone else thinking of going down to Brighton for the weekend without a ticket to the game if we’ve got a decent chance of winning it?

Huddersfield are no longer fighting for thier lives. They are well and truly dead and buried. Liverpool will be disappointed if they don't score 6!
Also Huddersfield previous manager was big friends of klopp. Think they will just role over and allow Liverpool to tickle.their belly

Whatever transpires - the run-in is going to be exceptionally close.

It's funny when you go on RAWK and read their threads, absolutely desperate for us to drop points in the next 2.

They'll be in tears if we come through them with 6 points.
So will Klopp and the players if you read what they've been saying.

They're pinning all their hopes on us dropping points in those two games.

Exactly, if we beat Spurs then the pressure is on and Cardiff HAVE to get a result against Liverpool because Brighton play Wolves and if they don't keep up then they are more or less gone. If they do get something then Brighton play Spurs, Arsenal and us next whilst Cardiff have an easier run of fixtures to keep them up.

I think something will give this weekend and it will be either we drop points or they do and whoever does will go on and win it.

Been said before every weekend for the past month.

Cardiff won’t beat Liverpool. I wouldn’t be worried if we were going there. Why is it any different for them?

I expect a 2/3 nil win.

We need to win all games. It’s that simple. If we win the next two then it’s as good as done for me. Momentum will carry us through. United are dogshit so I expect a win there. Spurs is hardest one left for me.

No chance of Cardiff taking points off Liverpool, i know Cardiff need points desperately but they are where they are in the league because they are shit.
Liverpool by 3 goals
