I had no idea which way he would go with that Llorente VAR call: it clearly touched his hand but the hand wasn't making his silhouette any bigger. They seem to make it up as they go along with hand ball these days. Obviously glad he gave the goal and if the same had been disallowed at the other end you all would have understandably been saying that UEFA are corrupt.

Anyway, best of luck for the rest of the season, you deserve the treble and I'd be amazed if you aren't chasing the quadruple this time next year. Not sure what chance we've got in the semi with no Kane, Son suspended and the whole of our midfield injured...

Ah well, we are still learning in Europe it seems.

Underlined the importance of scoring at least one away goal, naive of pep not to take the away game a bit more seriously. I think he took a bit of a gamble and it didn’t pay off.

I honestly hope we absolutely fucking smash these on Saturday......play another insanely high tempo game and play them off the park
 
At the end of the day, Yes Laporte made a couple of errors which was totally out of character for him. But the fault has to lay on the head of Pep. He decided to fuck us up by playing a second string team in the first leg.

It's going to be interesting to see what type of team hi selects on Saturday and against the Scum next week.
 
Gutted to fuck over that more gutted than I thought I would be maybe it’s beca we played so well and came so close. But I’ve said all week I’d take going out if we win on Saturday. I just hope the players don’t feel sorry for themselves
 
The Christian Hoddle lying through his teeth. The back hand merchant Walton now saying it was a goal - it’s clearly hit his arm but we have a whole studio now justifying a decision to suit their agenda. If that had hit a city player like that - it would be a penalty and they’d all be screaming for it. They wouldn’t know objectively or the truth if it punched them in the face.
 
To not score in the first leg puts you under tremendous pressure to keep a clean sheet in the second leg, and our team is not set up to play that way.

Feel sorry for all you fans who went and are desperate to win this competition, I am not one of them.

I just hope we can bounce back on Saturday, same scoreline would be OK then of cause.
 
Nobody will read this because the server will crash or there will be fifty posts within a minute after this but....I fucking love this club. And we are living in dreamland watching this football and living this team. VAR is bollocks, UEFA is bollocks and if we only win the fucking Milk Cup this year it might be my favourite year of watching us. Fighting, clawing, scratching and playing through game after game with style, quality and class. Did you ever dream of such a thing? CTID!
