Mendy's will break down every few miles. David Silva's will crawl down at 20mph. Bernardo's will do about 500 miles on the way. Otamendi's will bump into the other coaches. Jesus's will do most of the journey on the offside of the motorway. Walker's will speed down at 100mph but forget to stop at Wembley and end up in Brighton.

Sane's will leave the depot about 5 minutes before kick-off. Stones' won't even leave at all. And god help anyone trying to overtake Fernandinho's.

The problem there is there will *always* be more the players could do.

If they had bought tickets and coaches for everyone, someone would complain that they did not fund accommodation for those staying more than the day, and the players are being tight.

If they had provided for tickets, coach travel, and accommodation, someone would complain that they didn’t fund food and drink, and they are going rather cheap.

If they had paid for tickets, coach travel, accommodation, and food and drink, someone would complain the didn’t pay for pre-match adult entertainment and massage services to calm the nerves.

These players are bastards, really, now that I think of it.
