Dissapointed with no Sane. Something is definitely wrong there. No Fern is a worry but I think Foden is a good move - he has bags of energy and will contribute more than Silva.

He probably will. I would still have preferred to see Bernardo in the middle with Sane and Sterling out wide though.

To be honest, were we wide open or did Laporte just make two silly mistakes? He wasn’t far from the half way line when he slipped up for their second. The other goal was from a corner, and in the 2nd half they barely threatened.

Who knows, maybe it’s nothing and he wants him to come on later and rip it up.
