Decent line up. Thought Sane would have made the team though.

Think Foden has finally done it, trusted to start vs the 3rd best team in England. Probably a regular next season.

Sane's days at City are clearly numbered. Pity but clearly down to him.

Phil starts, brilliant. The future is here.

No mahrez, superb.

What's up with Pep fielding first 11 against bottom of the league opposition but rotating in important PL/CL games ?

What the fuck is he saving dinho for? wide open in the middle again

To be honest, were we wide open or did Laporte just make two silly mistakes? He wasn’t far from the half way line when he slipped up for their second. The other goal was from a corner, and in the 2nd half they barely threatened.

The spurs fans on here saying they will be playing a team full of youth players. Shock horror, it's basically the same team as midweek. Who were all their injured players supposed to be?

Maybe Sane is trying to be too big for his boots and Pep is trying to bring him down a peg or two.
Who knows, maybe it’s nothing and he wants him to come on later and rip it up.
I’m quite glad we don’t know the real reason, it shows how tight lipped we can be.
Rip it up for the last 4 minutes?

Happy with the strength of the team, can't under estimate a team...remember no point resting players for Wednesday if we don't win today...one game at a time, strongest team plays every game...can't be fooling around any more.

Good to see David “rested”

Sane one now getting beyond my comprehension

A win by any means ...1-0 off a defenders arse, anything at all today, 3 points is all that matters

I think Dier for Spurs is the only player to be slower than Gundogan and no where near as skilful
