We were up against a lot more tactically astute manager yesterday and mid week. Wednesday we are up against a patsy who hasn’t got a clue what he’s doing and has a massive inferiority complex about his new job. Put these fuckers to the sword they are a lot less of a team than Spurs.
 
Sane oddly seems to have slipped out of the reckoning and yet after City had struggled to put away Spurs in the 2nd half, he comes on and creates the best chance of the game for Sterling
 
Even if they’re fired up it means nothing, they don’t have anyone good enough to beat us on their own. Bernardo will have that cringe twat Pogba on a leash. Can’t wait. Just get the game and the drinks started already!!

Hopefully they get stiffed by Everton and Chelsea and Arsenal win, that scenario should see their heads go down as they realise they’ve no chance of top 4...

Ridiculous. He was the single reason we lost to Liverpool in the CL lady season. Our defensive record at the start of the season was brilliant with laporte and stones. And then pep brought in otamendi in December and screwed up the defence. His positioning is terrible, he's slow on the ball, can't pass longer than 5 yards and makes too many fouls and mistakes

Was a calculated strategy by Pep imo.

Imagine being the full back and having been grafting and concentrating for 65 minutes then fucking Sane comes on fresh as a daisy to give you a new ringpiece.

Absolute nightmare.

Was dangerous as fuck when he came on.

If Vinnie is fit, he should play this one without doubt. We need experience and leadership on the pitch for the run-in, especially on the derby.

Which btw brings me to their game vs Everton today ... what result is best for us in that? Them winning so they can ‘afford’ losing to us midweek before playing Chelsea in their quest for reaching the top 4? Surely them losing today would make them play harder against us if they still want to make top 4? Then there’s the old argument of winning breeds confidence etc and if they lose that’d put a dent in their confidence ... I can’t decide which way today’s game suits us best ... a couple of red cards and suspensions would do to say Rashford and Pogba.

For me Gundoğan has started to eclipse Fern, who is starting to creak a little. We also have no hope of physically competing with Pogba in the centre, he's like peak Yaya in that sense, so let's surround him with our fast passing midgets and do him that way.
Walker will have to stay cautious because of the threat posed by Martial on the left, so I'd include Mendy in this one.
Leroy will need to be up for this.

Second half yesterday with kev off and gundo pushed, our midfield was over run by spurs, I like Ilkay but he is more poised than physical and against what will be pogba in the mood as he has been in the derbys, ferdy sitting in there mixing it up is a must and so I would choose him personnaly for the DM role.
 
We need to be switched on. Whilst United are shite, they will still be a threat with pace and set pieces - we should have too much for them though. I’m honestly more concerned with Burnley away
