Maybe I’m reading to much into it. But I thought it was interesting that Ayra was wanting to know everything about the army of the dead. Could she use her skills to mimic one to get close to the knight king.

Baratheon - Gendry - kings landing and the riverlands
Arryn - Robin - the eyrie
Greyjoy - Yara - iron islands
Lannister - Tyrion - casterly rock
Tarly - Sam - all the lands that were tully
Targaryen - Jon - Dragonstone and dorne with davos helping him
Beyond the wall - Tormund will fuck off back to.

All trading and working together, but not under one rule.

Gendry, I reckon the whole sex scene and scenes with Arya are setting him up to die in the crypt next week to fill out her character arc. She's done a lot since King's landing but hasn't failed in a while.
