billy was a legend in the game and could have been at manchester city but for swales and board not backing him, city had a youth team and 7 or 8 that was that good they demanded a first team place at the time, and billy knew 3 or 4 major signings and city would have a great squad and going places but swales did not ??
I think if he'd stayed, the rest of the 80s wouldn't of been so bad..but then again, Shredded wheat head was still there so maybe not.I remember that too. Very sad day for football.
