trying to copy us now eh....not a bloody chance
They aspire to be like Manchester City as the Chosen One wisely observed. Unfortunately, the majority and their sycophants do not realise that this is the way forward.

Instead, they continue to wallow in empty rhetoric like the united way, class of 92 etc. This is further exemplified by yet another rag article on the BBC, entitled "My players have the rag DNA" or some other bollox. What does rag DNA, even mean? Until they stop believing such guff they will get nowhere.

All this shit about 'the United way' and their fucking DNA makes me both laugh and angry at the same time. There's an article in The Guardian saying 'United must live up to their past' (https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2019/apr/22/solskjaer-easter-manchester-united),

Their "DNA" was Baconface. He was the heart and soul of the club who controlled all aspects of the football side. He wasn't parachuted in to a club that had some sort of magic formula for success. He had to build that himself and he didn't leave anything behind but his history of success. No structure or formula for his successor. Just a group of players who he somehow got to overachieve, under owners who weren't as committed to achieving the top prizes as he was. They've tried throwing money at the problem and that hasn't worked. They got managers who were proven winners but that had no impact. So their latest trick is to get someone in who "knows the club and the United way" but the guy they've got in has a pretty undistiguished manager who probably doesn't have it in him to even keep them up there, let alone move them forward. He'll be gone by the end of next season and then what's their next trick?

They need to forget their past and think hard about their future. Let's hope they don't.

The thing about DNA is that it locks in all your weaknesses as well as all your strengths.

I saw that headline and just laughed

This again. He's absolute shite.

If you want to polish a turd, Martial is far and away the more talented of the pair.

Apparently Rashford isn't as 'humble as he used to be'. No shit! He's had 3 years of over promotion, being over paid and over hyped. I wouldn't be humble either, I'd be making of the most of it if I was him until someone found me out

I wouldn't entertain Martial either. He gets a better player with each game he plays shit it - "if only x, y, z". Usually it's if he had a different manager. Well, he's on his 3rd United manager now, how many more does he need?

SSShhh. Talk like this may wake them up. Loose lips sink ships and all that!!

Rashford is a burden to United - he's not quite good enough for a team with Premier League or Champions League aspirations but because he's home grown they are forced to keep him.

People are saying that they need to get rid, offload etc but it won't be easy. Clubs are as willing to buy their shit these days, particularity as the likes of Bruce, Robson etc.are no longer managing in the Premier League

We couldn't get rid of players like Bellamy, Adebayor etc and that was years ago, imagine what they are paying say Jones, Smalling, never mind the better ones....It will take years to get rid and they will be stinking the place out as long as they are there. they do not have the expertise or logistical no-how(never mind the will) to offload 10 players
That's their biggest problem really, they've got at least a dozen players that are mid table quality at best and they're all on FIFA TOTY contender level wages.

  • Declan Rice, Saul Niguez and Joao Felix are three names on their shopping list - Daily Mail
Will they ever learn?

You look at their whole squad and it's full of players they would have offloaded to teams like West Brom, Hull & Boro a few years ago.

Have you forgotten that Smallthing, the new Stan Laurel and Tom Daley all signed a new contract in the last few weeks?

None of those three will be going anywhere for the foreseeable.

I think they are playing the long game with Smallthing and the Face and hoping the Elephant man gets Sheffield Wednesday up and then cash in both in for 20 mil its the only feasible explanation for giving those two donkeys a contract extension
