United (A) Post Match Thread

What a win that was. We are levels above them on the pitch, in the dugout, as a club. 2 great strikes to win the game. However when Fern went off after he made that fantastic interception, I started to think it was all going to go against us with both him & KDB getting inured. I have never been so wrong, Gundogan slotted in perfectly as United had stopped pressing & the extra attacker in Leroy gave us more options as he stretches defences. David Silva has not met the incredible high standards he sets the last few months but last night was vintage Silva, they couldn’t get near him. Such a proud moment winning last night.

3 wins for another double: 4 for a treble.

David was perfection last night. Precision forward passes, gliding past defenders, tenacious closing down. I can't remember him giving the ball away cheaply once.

Knew the result but have just finished watching the match. How good was that? The press reports that I’d read didn’t give us enough credit. Total gulf in quality between the two sides! Three more Premier League wins needed. Come on City.

And in the post match review on sly, how cool was Joe?

@fernandinho: “We showed the desire in competing for every ball like animals. I think this is the spirit of a team that wants to be champions.”
Great quote. Typifies the strength of this club today. Wow, times change.
Edit PS. A group from all over the world, all creeds and colours, united in purpose. Warms the heart.

Yards off, that was the officials attempt to help them, but Ederson made a great save.
Yards off? Inches maybe.

Gave Ederson a chance to channel his inner Trautmann with a brave dive for the ball.

beating united will mean nothing if we don't go on and win the next 3 games and we must take the same attitude into them 3 games and respect each and every one them just like we did at united, forget what liverpool are saying about united rolling over ?? city had to win the game with that dirty tac-tic from liverpool and klopp in the press before the game, so made it hard for city to get any credit from beating united away with the pressure on our shoulders

the 2 big games of the season are the derby games and you look for them first, but the fixtures have not been that good in the run in, yes you have to play each other twice so its the same for everybody, but it was a big big asked after losing to spurs in the champions league to play spurs again then united away at this stage of the season

we should be down and out after that champions league loss and we could have just took the easy way out ?? and said we are burnt out after last season and the world cup with city having 17 players at the competition and asking players to go to that level again we just did not have enough in the tank ? but we are not having any of that shit and liverpool will have to fight to the end if they want the title and even then it may not be enough with this city squad and manager
