Thinking of it another way why would two managers that had been sacked by Liverpool want to do them a favour? It’s like you going back and doing a shift for an old boss that had sacked you
Managers that failed to bring the title to Merseyside also might not be too sad to see Klopp fail in the same job

2 ex dipper managers for their last 2 games that they need to win, their game last week they were given a late pen by a player who has openly said he wants them to win the title, also he ducked out of the way from a cross that he should have scored from, hmmm

Player is another thing if they play against the team they prefer. They could make a mistake deliberately. As it could theoretically be Rafa who could pick the wrong team, send some kids and so on. But Brenda can't do a shit. He'll prepare his team as best as he knows and can, just as he would do it without Liverpool in need.

Yes - Morrison declared at the start of the season that he was desperate for Liverpool to win the title. Then in a vital and tight game against them, he didn't come across to try to block Liverpool's first goal ... then he fluffed an open goal in quite bizarre fashion ... then he conceded a needless penalty to wrap up the game.

Certainly makes you wonder ...

In the end we play teams we should be able to beat do that however much their manager wants or doesn’t us to win doesn’t matter. Do our job and the rest follows. Obsessing with what others do is pointless.

It was blatant cheating

We can safely assume they won’t be punished for time wasting like they were against Chelsea ...

What could he do? Play himself? I doubt Ederson would shit himself.

He can't do a shit being ex-dipper manager. He can prepare the game as best as he knows, just as he is definitely doing it before any other game. This ex-manager thing is vastly overrated, specially when they play the team that competes against their former club. Players don't give a fuck about his eventual fandom and will play as they play. Rafa for ex. could put strange team against Liverpool and help them that way, but doubt he'd do that too.

So you don’t think that a manger would motivate and direct his players differently according to the game? Brenda can motivate and pump up his player more than usual that day. He can direct them to play more physical to hurt and intimidate our players. He is capable of getting out of his way by adopting ways to hurt us and our chances. The truth is that Brenda got a beef with City - when we won HIS PL trophy in THEIR year, as well as during Raheem’s saga. And that is worrisome. It is kind of naive to assume a manager doesn’t approach the games differently based on the circumstances surrounding each game. I am not sure about Benitz though, and I guess he will play with the usual intensity against them, or at least I am hoping.
