Who ever runs the city twitter should be sacked simple as. Remember the crap they where tweeting pre Newcastle game then we went out and got beat. Wouldn’t surprise me if they are Liverpool or united fans anyway
 
Just how funny would it be if Benitez and his merry men turned the dippers over at the weekend?
They are not to be underestimated at home and certainly upset our applecart last time round.
We could be Championes next Monday.....
 
What pisses me off about the season's run in , is the media hype of 'back on top' , tit for tat etc. It is purely an artificial situation created by sky and the media. City at the end of each weeks fixtures have been on top for several weeks, Liverpool blew their lead back in the New Year. For most of these weeks Liverpool have been scheduled to play first so they can temporarily say they are league leaders - it's bollocks

They're under huge pressure, more so in their chumps league tie than anywhere. If they don't get through that they're in with a real chance if winning nothing. So theres a good chance they'll take their eye off the ball for the Newcastle game.

Hopefully a close game on Wednesday and their still in the tie. One or 2 injuries would be nice.

No, the lad who runs it is sound and a big Blue. Think this tweet was a bit ill-judged, but only because I’m paranoid about tempting fate.

Cheers for the heads up I’m in the same boat as you with the temping fate. Should of waited until the league was won it would also remind Liverpool how close they came

We’ve been playing weekends and midweek since January. They have had a favourable schedule,
so I think they can cope with 4 games over the 2 weeks.
We need to win both our games, as I believe they will win both theirs.

not even close, 11/12 season will never be beaten for stress, that was a 10/10 stress level , this is a 4/10 at the moment :)
 
Still think a lot are missing the wild card in all this, the Brighton factor.
Should they need something to stay up it makes the last day more tricky. The FA CUP game proved despite dominance we only scored 1 goal.
Our league goals have dried up a bit so any hanging on to 1 nil leads in these 2 games could be fatal.

Like everyone else I’d love that to happen. However they struggled against Brighton at home, can’t see them miraculously getting something against the scousers. Obviously I hope to be proven wrong, but just can’t see it unfortunately.

I think Brighton will be safe, but I think if they are not, then I think we will have more room to play.
Playing against another parked bus, is the draining part.

Im a glass half empty bloke and could quite easily see us losing 3-0 and them winning 6-0

We're attuned to playing every 3/4 days I wonder will it throw us out of our stride having a full week off ?
 
Assuming us and the dippers both win our last 2 games, would it ever have been done before that a team has won its last 14 (or more) games to win any top division by a point or less?
