The media have been arse licking Liverpool since the Sun's reporting of Hillsborough. They daren't write anything even remotely close to the truth without fear of reprisal.

yes the sun did go over the top ?? but some truths hit home ?? and the truth was you put crazy fans, in a crazy small away end, and add 1000s of liverpool fans outside and many without tickets wanting to get in any means possible then yes its your fans fault as well

In light of what happened, it honestly amazes me the amount of posts on RAWK about people trying to jib in without a ticket tonight.

Horrible Scouse ****s, and I mean every word of it.
That accent makes my skin crawl, God I hope we win the league instead of these fuckers, horrible horrible supporters.
Come on Barca humiliate these gobshites.
Is love them to do a Celtic on them.

Merseyside police are there on a jolly with their free tickets to the match.Probably in a bar laughing with the ****s chucking locals in fountains.
I wouldn't be surprised if that **** I saw throwing that old bloke into the fountain was head of Merseyside police.

Liverpool Football Club is working with Merseyside Police and the authorities in Spain, who are endeavouring to identify those involved in the incident.

Such behaviour is clearly totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

It would be inappropriate to comment further while the situation is ongoing other than to confirm the club will follow due process in any and all cases of this nature.
Aren't they too busy working with the Merseyside Police to identify those involved in smashing up coach to worry about this. Given their previous experience on identifying people using CCTV / mobile footage it could be years, if ever, before these people are caught

Apparently they're blaming the old geezer who was chucked in the fountain - said he was hassling Liverpool fans.
Possibly trying to make a Euro or two for food, perhaps they don't have thousands of food banks across Barcelona like they do in Liverpool. There were at least two people thrown in the water so I wouldn't believe a word those grinning cretins served up as an excuse.

Two videos - 1st one looks very much to be a local or holidaymaker stood viewing the square, clearly not selling anything and not hassling anyone.
2nd video looks very much like one of the guys we saw around Barcelona when we went, carrying packs of beer and selling them to make some cash. Never saw one of them hassle anyone, they just stood there or made the slightest of gestures to say "do you want to buy some cans". So scousers try to weakly defend the 2nd assualy but what have they got to say about the other one. But not worries, Merseyside Police helping with investigations so it will all get sorted !
