We need a 1 nil to Barcelona. Liverpool need to come away thinking they have a chance. We need Liverpool thinking about both comps now.
They can lose 5 - 1 and still think they will win it at home (where they would lose 3 -2).

The problem is that this Barcelona team are not that great anymore. It's all about Messi and I hope he can produce one of his finest performances tonight. Physically Liverpool are a much stronger team.
Sadly, I have to agree with you. The rags showed that it was fairly easy to get at Barcelona and the dippers are a level or 2 up on the rags. I expect the dippers to get at least a draw. Barcelona are still a good team but nowhere near the force they were a few seasons ago.

It's the return leg I'm worried. Dippers are very strong at home and barca can be very vulnerable away. Heck last year they got smashed by psg in Paris. They need a big win tonight and avoid conceding away goals or its advantage dippers

Interesting line-up from Klopp. Not sure if the injury to Firmino forced his hand, or if he was always going to play an extra midfielder anyway. Wouldn’t surprise me if it was 352, with Milner and Robertson as wing backs. Hopefully Barcelona will have too much for them, but there were signs against United that they could be got at. It’s not a vintage Barca side by any means.
