I like Aarons, but I have serious questions about whether he's "exceptional". Many players look stars in the Championship but struggle to make the step up.

If Wan-Bissaka is available, I think we have to go for him. He's already in the top 5 RBs in the league.
 
The problem trying to secure players close season this year is that all the other teams in and around top six will do the same. Loserpool will tweak, Manure desperate, Spuds may dip into the market and Emery at Arse will want to bolster his squad.

In the way that Stones and Laporte are top quality Kompany is good for the odd game but not a LCB ever, and is going to slow even more and pick up more injuries, if Ottamendi goes Pep will require an experienced CB, Garcia and Sandler are years from competing especially as every year someone will surpass them
As for Angelino i do not think he will want to come back, i think he is happy there, i rate Angelinho as much as Chilwell but Zincky is definitely better than both

So I would guess we'll bring in...

DM (Rodri)
AM (Bruno Fernandes)
CB (?)
RB (Wan-Bissaka)

I'd say that would make for a great summer.
 
As crazy as it sounds I think we actually need a bit of an overhaul this window. Chances are Dave, Fern, Vinny, Kun, and Otamendi will all be retired or gone within 2 years. Mendy is a total question mark and Gundogan (and Danilo?) could be off this summer.

We may have some internal replacements such as Phil but in the grand scheme of things I'd hope we're looking at 3-4 signings this summer, especially if a transfer ban is looming.

The club will know by now if we are getting a transfer ban or not and will surely have to plan ahead in the summer the perfect summer would us get:

Rodri
Felix

Realistically though I feel de ligt wants Barca, barca wants de ligt
