We score three early goals , Wolves get an early lead at Klanfield is the preferable version for Sunday , but deep down we know this isnt going to happen as always we will be put through the wringer , we have had a few last day disappointments but it only makes you appreciate more the brilliant ones we have enjoyed recently . Blackburn was the one i realised it was our day when Rovers hit the post four times , so please dont do that to me on Sunday City , my heart might not survive another QPR.Gillingham,Bradford epic.

Right City go for the jugular from the off. I want it won before HT or my ticker isnt going to cope. 2012 was terrible and 2014 was bad enough. I lost years from my life.

Thank you your majesty for bestowing your sight upon a mere minion such as me, but you're missing my point. My point is this: you and I might want to see us move the ball faster in transition, but Pep has deliberately disciplined the team not to do that based on results. That's how he consistently produces teams that take the most shots and concede the least shots over a league season. And that is the difference between a fan (you) and a tactician (Pep). Get down from your high horse mate, I think that bit in bold is the most arrogant thing I've ever read on here.

On Spurs I don't think he will think he effed up at all. His objective was not to beat Spurs, it was to win every trophy, and to do that the Spurs game away was the only tie that he could afford to play a slightly weakened team. It's easy to assume in retrospect that we'd have won the two must win games either side of the CL tie with Spurs, but maybe playing a stronger team vs Spurs could have cost us in those. Pep's squad management means we're still top of the league and in the FA Cup final, what a fuck up. Another example of the difference between a fan and a tactician.
duly noted, not entirely accepted, my points are not untrue.
we can't replay the the games, so moving forward, let's Brighton the mood on Sunday.

my op did say how great i think we are, but more shots from better positions would mean more goals.
As I say, we’ve scored more goals than any team in British history doing what we do. I’ll settle for that. I doubt someone on Bluemoon is likely to think of something out management team haven’t.

Correct , losing four out of sixteen games is obviously a far superior achievement to win a competition , we may well have to make do with 32 wins out of 38 for the 2nd season on the trot , all hail the Dipper F.C for losing once in every four games to win the Champs league.
It's 4 in 12 isn't it?

Ridiculous this, now their gk is talking about how it would be great to spoil our party. Farcical.

Mathew Ryan (Brighton GK):

“The most surreal thing is having friends and family who are Liverpool supporters and having the opportunity to have such a big influence on history.”

”I remember the hype around that City and QPR game those years ago and how the whole world was invested in it.

It’s nice to be part of that. If we can disturb the party, it would be nice.”

Anyone flapping comfort yourself with the knowledge that Klopp and 50.000 other twats at klanfield would fucking love to be playing Brighton to win the league.
I would not swap position but Liverpool needed a disputed Salah penalty goal to beat them at the Amex.

Lol Dont get worked up over what their players are saying, frankly most of the teams would want to spoil the party when you know you can theoretically atleast. We would to if we were in a similar position. Wolves would have the similar mindset

All well and good having the mindset but seen three players coming out and saying it to me lacks class

I’d be more worried about Wolves players not saying anything and hopefully quietly going about their business

Rather than gobshite championship players shouting about what they’re going to do to a team of fired up motivated world class players

Exactly worries me that wolves players will turn up Sunday and not want to get in the way of the dipper klopp love in after Tuesday night it seems like the whole fuckin world is rooting for those feral bastards

I’m just hoping the lads are as hungry for this Sunday as us. As some have mentioned, the goals have dried up a bit of late, and it’s a given Brighton will park the bus. However I’m just hoping we can end it all on a high, and find our scoring boots again to settle the nerves.
